MissInfo: I wouldn’t say Nas ever fell off, he just seemed content to do these endless tours with Damien Marley, and make semi-fuzzy-political songs or feel good ragga-rap. Which is totally fine. But this here? I LOVE. It doesn’t really sounds like a song on an album called Life is Good. It really sounds more like a song off that scrapped Lost Tapes 2. It’s not structured or polished or primped…as I said on twitter, its just straight rap, no fat, no fluff…and best of all, no agenda-pushing. Salaam Remi kept the beat hard and simple.
