Nas touched listeners when he debuted the single “Daughters,” and today we have it’s accompanying video. The Chris Robinson-directed video tells the story of fatherhood through the eyes on Nas’ 17-year-old daughter, Destiny Jones. From the moment she was born, to becoming a full-fledged teenager, the visual chronicles their daddy-daughter relationship through her eyes. Even though her dad happens to be a very popular one, many fathers can relate with this video in support of Nas’ upcoming Life Is Good album due July 17.

weak beat, dope rhymes. typical Nas.
I should clarify – the beat isn’t terrible. It’s just mediocre. It gets the job done but doesn’t transcend/do more than that.
Why can’t Nas get stellar production? These kind of rhymes could have been placed on a melodic and moving beat. whoever makes that stuff nowadays. Premo in his prime I guess

Hhaha, very predictable garbage from you, u sound like an ignoramus. Wtf is a stellar production? NO ID laced a perfect soulful beat for Nas to devour n u are here spewing ignorance. U prolly want Nas to be spitting on recycled lex luger beats. Niggies still stuck on Illmatic and Premo.

“U prolly want Nas to be spitting on recycled lex luger beats” + “Niggies still stuck on Illmatic and Premo” = makes no sense.
Which one is it? Do I want poppy Lex Luger beats or am I stuck on jazzy Illmatic?
you made contradictory statements while trying to sound intelligent.
you know why cats are stuck at Illmatic? It’s because it’s his best work, dummy. STILL. after all these years. Nas excels when he gets Illmatic/Lost Tapes type beats from people who mastered that type of sound.
I’ll take any beat on Lost Tapes over NO IDs generic shit.
then again, you’re one of those internet NO ID stans who probably just found out about dude like 2 or 3 years ago and have joined the net army.
I’ve been listening to NO ID since his early Common days.
Outside of his work for Resurrection, dude simply aint that nice. He’s a competent beatmaker but he’s rarely stellar. and if you don’t know what stellar hip hop production is, then just go to sleep. I’m way out of your league when it comes to understanding this hip hop shit.

Well, u answeres d question, get over Illmatic n all its producers, its 2012 dawg. Its his best work in ur own small world, others prefer, I.W.W, Stillmatic, Godson, I am, HHID, or Untitled most of am critically acclaimed and commercially successful. All these “fanagers” always acting too smart for their own good tryna tell a multi- platinum artist wats good for his career. Go mind ur own first dawg.

Truf.com put the blunt down, your brain cells seem to be halfway gone. Weak beat? Sounds smooth like butter to me. Let me guess you prefer a Lil Wayne beat huh? Nasir makes songs to drop jewels on ignant folks such as yourself.
Props to you Nas, another classic from the God.
