Saying goodbye is always hard to do. For Nas, the Queens MC closes a chapter in his life in “Bye Baby,” the reflective stand out cut off his Life Is Good LP. Nas brings his album cover to life as he documents his life with ex-wife Kelis as he reminisces over video of their wedding day. From meeting with lawyers to close his divorce, and cleaning out Kelis’ closet before finding her infamous green wedding dress, Nas says his final goodbye in the Aristotle-directed visual, with a cameo from Aaron Hall! If you remember, the song samples Hall’s voice from GUY’s “Goodbye Love.”

The Aaron Hall cameo was so dope
I dunno so much about saying good bye. Nas & Kelis were cozy at an Anita Baker concert last week lol. Great video and song none the less lol

Cozy? I doubt it.. it was her birthday. She was with friends, he was with friends.. who says they were together? And if they were, im sure it was just him hangin for her b-day. She is the mother of his son and they finally on good terms. Sidenote: Kelis looks kinda bad now..sheesh.lol

Lol They were definitely together and they’ve been spending a lot of time together in LA.
I don’t understand why u felt the need to responded to what I wrote as if I don’t know what I’m talking about or you know better lol. All I was saying was their current relationship looks like more than just co-parenting and makes the song kinda funny now.
Kelis looked the same when I saw them. Only difference was her hair is longer now.

Nas has been seen with plenty of females lately and truthfully Kelis does look TERRIBLE at this point in her life! Nas was with a member of his management (Gabeheight) at the concert. I doubt Nas wants Kelis back but he may have sex with her from time to time…LOL! The video states it all “Bye Baby!!!!”

I like when video’s follow the storyline of a song….you don’t see that much now a days in Hip-Hop cuz most “rappers’ don’t have a good story to tell but Nas = DOPE period

Airing out his business? Kelis and her publicist aired him out saying “my well being is based on Nas will to earn for me”.. this a grown woman that was seperated from him at the time. She put his info about business ventures out, alleged cheating, etc..she was nasty. He cant speak on his life? I always appreciated an honest artist.. hes not dissing her, he is reflecting on his marriage.

Art is a platform to air whatever personal business a person wants to air out. Marvin Gaye loses points for the album he put out about is divorce? Jay-Z loses points for all the personal stuff he releases? Like his nephew’s death, drug dealing, etc.? This is what any artistic platform is for @Lost Boy..
