A new Gap commercial featuring Nas and his dad Olu Dara sends a warm, fuzzy sensation into our holiday hearts. Part of Gap’s larger 2012 holiday campaign, themed “Love Comes In Every Shade,” Nas and his father appear in “Fatherly Love.” The Don announced the ad by tweeting ” Me & Pops for The Gap. #LifeisGood.” Other celebrities in the Gap campaign include Michael J. Fox, Boardwalk Empire’s Jack Huston, Rufus Wainwright, and legendary film director Francis Ford Coppola.

This is a tad soft but I respect him for doing all this to pay that child support.

It amazes that after 3 years the haters is still stressing Nas’ money & child support. Hip hop has the biggest group of LOSER fans in any genre. Continue blessings Nas and while the haters/gossipers speculate about your reasons for getting endorsements such as Gap, Nike, Levi & ESPN “TO PAY YOUR CHILD SUPPORT” you continue to invest your money into tech companies and grow your business portfolio.
People who have nothing always worry about those who do.

I agree, Hip Hop. I look at it as expanding like he supposed to. Ppl too concerned with his pockets..he is rich..thats that. Dudes that mention that child support stuff, i bet..are broke as shit

haha child support…really!?! Nas gets 50-100 a show whenever he graces a stage and I doubt that will ever a change he’s a legend in the game.. Besides the money its definitely great to see our hip hop vets expand their brand into other business endeavors… definitely a plus and makes Hip Hop a more respectable/acceptable genre to offset the bafonery that we occasionally hear from some of these weak less established artist out there (insert name here…………) lol

WHat the hell does child support have to do with anything? Nas is a grown ass man who is a legend and he’s rich! He may not be Forbes rich, but he’s rich, so stop counting his damn money! What other rappers have you seen get a Gap ad?

ummm… LL ” for us by us on the low” Cool J and Common. I agree with everything else you said though. Im guessing the others feel he shouldn’t get a check so he can maintain his thug image.
