Mr. Hudson has kept himself busy with various projects these past few years, releasing the Never Grow Up album with Rosie Oddie under the name BIGkids, as well as writing and producing for fellow British talents like Eliza Doolittle, Josh Kumra and Sway DaSafo. But yesterday, G.O.O.D. Music’s clean-cut crooner debuted his new single, “Fred Astaire,” on Mark Ronson’s East Village Radio show.

Blending powerful percussion, a cool, indie edge and Hudson’s core pop sensibilities, this is a winner in every right for long-time fans and new listeners alike. Mr. Hudson is currently working on his third studio album, which could arrive later this year (hey, we have to speculate when those G.O.O.D. Music folk keep things so secretive!)
