Mr. Cee and 50 Cent’s Throwback at Noon Special

Part Two:

Part Three:

But I just want to point out an interesting part of Cee and 50’s conversation….
50 talks about how he recently donated 200k to Bette Midler’s New York Restoration Project . Which is an amazing non-profit that gathers private funding to build and revamp public park spaces. According to Fif, his donation went directly to reclaim and restore South Jamaica, Queens’ infamous Baisley Park, where he and others may have spent time hustling back in the day. The website for NYRP doesnt list Baisley as one of its projects, but it does list the G-Unity Foundation as a $50,000 to $99,000 donor. Then there are 2 anonymous donors listed in the $100k to $499,999 range. I’m not sure if 50’s claim of having “bought” Baisley on the Sincerely Yours mixtape is a stretch, but either way, its a nice move, if not an ironic one.

nah, oddly no one hustled in baisley, too empty, no dedicated feins right there, especially with Supthin being right there, there r like 50 other places to buy “goods”. Its just the biggest, closest, non-Rochdale park to where Boo Boo grew up,but he’s not from over there, but not far. Its a sh1tty park that needs to have its lake dragged lol

@southside4life…hahaha, thanks for the clarification! so, 50 and Supreme never sat atop those benches in the photo, on opposite sides selling lil vials while the ducks floated by?

This is the mixtape of the “Decade ” for me, and you could rock this tape without skipping forward. Props to fif for doing this. Shit, I wonder what it would sound like with another rapper on there…

@ #1: uummm…Sutphin cuts through Baisley Park. Do you have any idea how big that park is? I guess because you post under “southside4life” that’s suppose to mean your comments hold weight.
It’s not like it used to be by far (way before the redone ball fields, track and basketball courts by the Conduit). It’s been a while since they had to fish a body out of the water. If you didn’t grow up around there during the Fat Cat / Supreme era then, really, you should just STFU because you don’t know what went on back then.

I remember even if you walked through there, you would get into a fight with kids from Martin, or someone would tell you a story about a body in the lake in the 80s-i can vouch for the bodies being dumped in the water (Nigg** is so stupid, why would u dump a body in the lake when u know it’s gonna get found? LOL)….they also had jams in the park, too….
That reference about Sutphin cuttin through Baisley is a little unclear-Sutphin, Rockaway and Baisley Blvds border Baisley Park, unless you want to count the newer courts and track built in the late 80s across Rockaway Blvd along 150th St and Conduit as part of Baisley (even though they consider that Baisley Park too)….us South siders know it as “150th”!!!
Anyway, he can have that park…maybe it will get fixed up somehow…then, he can fix Ajax Park too…(only Southsiders know what I am talking about
Bronx bully: Tell Fat Joe or Doo Wop and the Bounce Squad to fix Edenwald!!
