More Shots: 50 Cent Calls French Montana the “DVD Guy” aka the “New Ja Rule”

I didn’t think this would escalate but 50 seems hell bent on dissing French Montana at any opportunity he gets. If you remember, French’s comments about 50′s current place in hip-hop set off the G-Unit boss. On twitter, they shared a war of words, but no diss tracks ever came out. We really didn’t hear much more about it until last night when Peter Parker’s interview with Fif made its way online. 50 got real slick when he was questioned about his feud with Frenchy. He referred to him as the “DVD guy,” criticizes his lack of “hit” records, labels him as the new “Ja-Rule,”and says he can’t compete with him on any level. Will this turn into “real beef”?

Yeah I’m not sure how anyone that pays attention to the rap game not see this. 50 Cent turned into everything he hated Ja Rule for. Without Eminem 50 cent would be dead in the rape game.

Not a French fan but I thought 50 was the DVD guy considering all of his movies go straight to DVD like he’s Wesley Snipes. Hasn’t been the same since he lost his bet to Kanye.

50 is really reaching… Frenchs mixtape was hot, so is pop that… Regardless of who’s on the song with him its still HIS song. By new ja rule does that mean he’s goin to use frenchs name to get a buzz

Mac and cheese is wack except for a few features…French is not a solo artist. He ran with max ran with waka and Gucci, ran now he running with puff and Ross?? He wack and can’t stand his own ground. The whole coke boys is wack. He a bandwagon. 50 been wack lately, but in his prime he made his own lane, just like fab does, just like real solo artist do. Not aligning themselves with whoever hot, next he gonna be in ASAP mob owned by Rocky, when his album flop….clown.
