More of Kanye West’s Facebook performance: “Mama’s Boyfriend”
Posted by Miss Info under concerts , good for hip hop , good for me , new music , relationships and family , things I love , videos[22] Comments
whoa, this song gets personal. In the previous post, we saw Kanye addressing the employees at Facebook and blessing them with acapella excerpts from 4 new songs off Good Ass Job (or whatever the new album ends up being called). While the other songs “Chain Heavy” and “Sweat On My Face” are upbeat and full of bravado, this song “My Mama’s Boyfriend” deals with the mind of child Kanye resenting his mother’s boyfriend and how that affected grown Kanye. Very introspective. (I wonder if some of the audience felt uncomfortable with the language?) (Props to MRU2010)

Facebook is a young company filled with non-black and non-hispanic youths who listen to nothing BUT hip-hop and r&b. I’m sure that they were aiight! LMAO

This is why i HEAVILY defend and rep Yeezy to the fullest extent! He touches on subjects damn near everyone experienced!!! he holds nothing back. His anger, fears and cockiness goes into every track! Info, this dude is truly one of the gifted people to ever touch rap! and if i’m being a lil “too much”, then so be it!

same thing i thought. same damn thing. there are fine lines between coon, crazy blackman sidewalk preacher, and professional rapper. plus, he kind of looks like he’s up for auction. like a well dressed slave. this is beneath him.

Thank you that someone understood it from that perspective. All I see here is a a modern day jigaboo putting on a show. I love Kanye, Lord know I do but I think he is going about promoting his album in the wrong way.

Dont change the name Kan (im a be the first to call him “kan”, instead of “ye” lols) all you have to do is use a hyphen in the middle of “good” and “ass” to make it one word sounding “good-ass” (see what I did there) instead of Good ass like your praising someones ass. The hyphen will make all the difference. “Good-ass Job” You see!!!!!You need to hire me.
