Wow you speak with such emotions on this matter its almost like you are some how connected to Kelis…I am guessing “You hate him(nas) so much right now ahhhhhhhh” lol….get a grip for real because first of all you are basically screaming. Second of all she is his wife, she is gonna get what she deserve no matter what! Like you say sweetie justice will be served. HA. I am gonna say this to, She knew what the fukk she was getting herself in when she entered into that marriage. She left her bedroom door open and let him do him, she should of nipped that bullsh*t in the bud before the marriage, cause he damn sure was cheating then. Now she is emotional and in pain. I cant say I dont know what she might be going through cause I do. But at the same time….it’s for better or worst! Not it’s until you cheat. If she choose to end the marriage so be it…But raping his pockets is not gonna make her feel any better. Money is not gonna make the hurt any less and waving they child in his face is not gonna make him move like she want him to move. He already know the rules he have a child already. I suppose his school age daughter should get less because him and his baby mother wasnt married huh? Kelis azz is not lined in Gold, she is not special because her husband is a “well known rapper”. What is it that they say? When you go digging for dirt that is exactly what you are going to get.

You missed the civil union part. I said purpose of the civil unions not the reasons for marraige.Just because there are plenty of working mothers out there doesn’t mean all women should be.Matter of fact how many of them do you think would be working if they didn’t have to? i am a woman and beleive me I did not want to hand my precious infant to a babysitter for the majority of the day Monday thru Friday. Its a choice and those types of things should be discussed and hopefully they were. I couldn’t say. He didn’t hold up his end of the fidelity bargain so what he gets to just walk away paying a pittace (relative to his wealth) for diapers and shit? You are missing the lifetime commitment that he broke part. If you want to be able to just walk away after you stray and get caught you should not get married.

Really? The last thing that will cross my mind when I put a ring on a girls finger will be “a financial safety net” I’ll get married because I love her, not with the hopes of being taken care of financially. In Kelis’s case, nobody asked her to put her career on hold, she hasn’t even had the baby yet. Also, there are plenty of “working mothers” out there, this isn’t 1950. The TMZ article stated she wanted 3500.00 a month for a nanny, to me this doesn’t sound as though she plans on staying home full time and putting shit on hold.

I have never cared for Kelis and I also believe Nas is tight with tho dough children or not. Had to be taken to court for CHILD support. That being said I don’t believe Kelis went into this marraige as a Golddigger. I believe she truly loved him. One of the main purposes of the civil union of marraige is a financial safety net. If you’re just a baby mama I agree child support is enough cuz nobody told your azz to go have a baby with a commitment from that man. But when a man marries you and THEN you start a family while putting your career on hold and then that man BREAKS that commitment YOU ARE entitled to more than just child support. PERIOD. Thats the entire reason the alimony laws came into effect. If he wasn’t prepared to support his wife and child he shoud not have go married simple as that. It wasn’t her that punked out of the marraige it was him. With THAT being said I agree with whoever said part of this is definatley a woman scorned.

What could possibly cost that much, I am sure Nas will handle the medical bill and school fees and all that, right now its food and nappies, and why can’t K take care of her kids too? 5k is more than fair

Nas should definately step up and look after the kid but theres no way he should be paying for all the extra stuff for Kelis just because she says shes used to a certain lifestyle

NAS DID CHEAT. IF HE DIDN’T CHEAT KELIS WOULD BE WITH HIM TODAY. HE CHEATED ON KELIS WITH SOME CLUB PROMOTER OUT IN VA. KELIS WENT THROUGH HIS PHONE AND SAW PICS AND INAPPROPRIATE TEXT MESSAGES FROM A FEMALE. THEN SHE HAD THE NERVE TO GO OFF ON KELIS. SHES A VERY STRONG WOMAN AND I GOT TO GIVE IT TO HER FOR LETTING THIS LAME NIGGA AND MOVING ON WITH HER LIFE. YOU SAID YOU HAVE 3 SONS AND 5K WOULD BE ENOUGH FOR YOU. WELL, YOUR BABY DADDY ISN’T A WELL-KNOWN RAPPER LIKE NAS. KELIS DESERVES TO GET 20K A MONTH. FUKK WHAT EVERYBODY THINKS.
