You’re not making it clear on what you’re tryng to emply. If you’re emplying that $5,000 a month isn’t enough for a new born you’re dangerously ignorant when it comes to taking care of a child. I noticed you included the amount of money he spends a month for himself. I don’t know if u did that to attempt to compare what he’s offering to Kelis for the baby or not but Nas is a grown man that’s constantly in front of an audience and has to maintain his image. I’m so tired f females depending on guys. don’t get me wrong…I liked Kelis before this point because I thought she was a competely different individual. I thought she was way more independent than what she’s portraying herself to be.

Nas has fired back in his bitter divorce case with Kelis claiming he’s paid her more than she says and he makes less than she thinks.

For starters, Kelis claims Nas raked in $11 million for his album deal. Nas fired back in legal papers, “I did not receive even half that amount”… claiming it’s more like $4 mil. Nas claims his income is declining, and he’s only pulling in $147,165 a month.

As for what he spends … $71,371.96 a month, which includes $10,000 a month in clothing/hair/toiletries/personal effects.

Kelis, who is about to give birth to their child, claims Nas hasn’t paid a penny for child or spousal support since he left her. Nas, who says he wants to be “fully involved” in the parenting of their child, claims he’s agreed to pay $350 for a stroller, $450 for a baby sling and $1,598 for two cribs.

Nas thinks $5,000 a month is reasonable for child support since the kid will just be a newborn.

With that said, I’m about done with accustomed living. I was accustomed to food miraculously being on the table when I got home from school as a kid, but now that I’m pushing 30, my momma doesn’t owe me that.

Now because he’s riding Phantoms and got homes, Nas is supposed to break lifetime bread with this chick because she got lazy? Nah. If he gets joint custody, the kid’ll ride in Phantoms and stay in exotic locations too. Keyword: the kid. If women are equal to men, they shouldn’t make the decision to have unprotected sex and expect some kind of extra reward when nature happens. A man would be laughed out of court talking about child support payments for knocking a chick up.

And wouldn’t it be murderous if the kid wasn’t his? I put money that Kelis wouldn’t be a step away from the gutter, which is how she’s trying to make this all sound. She’d be fine.

All of this begs a bigger question, though: If Nas was paying for everything, how is she living now? I’m pretty sure science class taught me the human body can only survive a little while without food or water, let alone a pregnant human female.

If you got enough to live, you’re good–and that’s how you can always spot the gold diggers: they think they need waaaay more than necessary.

The peanut gallery is the one that comes up with all these assumptions, derived from ballerizms, about who broke and who got more money than eminem and 50. Mind you none of these people know or ever seen anything about a brothers bankbook. Now some info comes out and every one gets humble and starts dappin the nigga for havin some cake, or a lotta cake. There are many artists out there who have money, or deals(which may not be the biggest or popular deals in the world) that get them money to live comfortable, or very comfy. All I’m sayin is DAMN all the nigga biz gettin put out there now. lol
