More Grammy Weekend Drama: Usher’s wife suffers plastic surgery complication

“Usher’s wife Tameka Foster Raymond has suffered a serious injury due to complications from plastic surgery in Brazil, reports Access Hollywood.
On Saturday night, Usher canceled his performance at the Recording Academy and Clive Davis’s pre-Grammy Gala. Davis told party-goers the singer had to bow out due to a “serious injury in the family.”
On Sunday, Davis, Sony Music Worldwide’s chief creative officer, told PEOPLE. “I talked to his mom. My thoughts are with them, whatever they’re facing.”
Foster, 37, gave birth to the couple’s second child, Naveid Ely Raymond, in December. The two have an older son, Usher Raymond V, and Foster also has three sons from a previous relationship….” (source People Mag)
“a spokesman for Raymond’s husband, the musician Usher, said Monday: “Tameka Raymond is in stable condition after suffering complications from routine surgery in Brazil.
“Her husband Usher is with her at the hospital,” said the rep, Jeff O’Keefe, adding, “No further details will be released, and the family requests privacy at this difficult time.”

brazil is the plastic surgery capital of the world. its actually very common for rich women to fly there to get procedures done. Supposed to be more experienced and more cutting edge. Plus its cheaper and you can have more privacy.

Lost in all of this was the powerful performance by Jennifer Hudson. I was about to get my Young Buck on watching that, that was really touching.

Why in the hell did she go all the way to Brazil, she could have easily gone to Dr. 90210 doctors. I mean she has loot, you can’t be that hard up for money to let muthafukas chop you up and leave you worse then what you went in there for. May God give the family strength and help her get through this ordeal safely with her health intact.

Whatever makes u happy, but i think she just should have tried 2 exercise n eat healthy 2 lose the weight…people think just because they have alot of money that plastic surgery has 2 be the first and final answer…plus if i were her i woulda been scared after hearing wut happened 2 kanye’s mom…but i hope she gets well soon!

Hope she will be OK. BUT, tried to have plastic surgery on the down low and see what it got you. YES, some older woman of can’t bounce back after having 5 kids – and two back to back. There are brillant excellent surgeons in the states – what about Calli, she should have just went to a surgeon in the states and said “F” what people think if that was the case. I don’t wish bad on anyone, GET WELL!

I just don’t understand why the people with the most money, something we all wish we had still find themselves so unhappy that they take these chances with their lives. It seems that being a plastic surgeon is the way to go as there’s no shortage of low self esteem fools willing to depart with their money and let one go chop them up. Then once done they become repeat customers just like drugs, becasue they’re not getting any younger and they’ll just need more and more work done to battle the years. But father time always wins. And a body can only take so much abuse.
Can someone reset the bar for happiness to just being healthy, having some money, a wife/husband and kids. Why is it that people need EVERYTHING and still end up unhappy?
