More from OVOFest: Drake calls Eminem “the greatest of all time,” plus new Drake music
Posted by Miss Info under concerts , good for hip hop , new music[24] Comments
More footage from the action-packed OVOFest at Caribana in Toronto. Drake not only brought out Jay-Z, Jeezy, Rick Ross, Bun B, Fab and more….but he even brought out Eminem, killed “Forever” with him and more, and then called Slim Shady the “greatest of all time” before he exited. Thanks to Nigel/RealtalkNY for the nice footage.
As a bonus, the NMC posted the full-version of a Drake reference track which they say will include a female singer when finished. Love the Drake R&B tracks.

Hmmmm… Interesting… I would have thought he would’ve bestowed “the greatest of all time” title to his boss and mentor, Lil Wayne.

Drake is just an industry dickrider. He switches his shit up depending whos around. Peep dudes twitter, he’s always name dropping and saying corny shit like that. I guess he’s doing it to get in good with these people and stay on top.

I think, I may be wrong tho, He thinks (and I agree) Em is the greatest of all time, and Jay-z is the rapper who influenced him the most. His favourite rapper can be jeezy, that doesnt mean that Jeezys the greatest of all time or the rapper who influenced him the most. And Wayne is mentor. I guess he made a spot for everyone lol

Drake’s opinion on the greatest of all time is pretty much worthless. It’s like a newbie declaring that Christopher Nolan is the greatest director of all time. immediately a worthless statement.

GOAT is a matter of one’s opinion. Personally I don’t think eminem is the goat, but there are a lot who’s opnion sways that way. Rap should be around for decades to come. Do you think the GOAT will still be the GOAT in 20 years when new styles of rhymin will prolly be formed, that will make todays and yesterdays styles look old and corny?….live and let live.

This Eminem performance was dope usually he doesnt really engage with the fans and his concerts ain’t all that unless ur a proper hardcore fan.
Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, therefore for me both live and on CD Jay-Z is overall greatest rapper alive. 2 Pac is the greatest of all time because of subject matter etc.

Terms that should be done away with in hip hop: swagger, hater, and greatest of all time.

Hmmmmm. Im sure these rumours of the music industry trying to blackball 50 are true. Its obvious interscope are trying to cut all ties with him. I can honestly see 50 getting at Em soon. I mean Ross even swiped at Em and yet he gets on the same bill as him. Rick Ross is the most deluded mf’er in rap. Yes Teflon Don is a good album, but i liken Rick Ross to a fake gucci bag, it looks the same, but its just cheap fake ass shit……And before ppl say yes most rappers are full of shit, but Ricky takes it to a whole new level he’s actually deluded. This whole Lovin ere in rap, where rappers are constantly kissing each others ass is ridiculous. 50 has taken his eye off the ball as far as music goes, but damn he’s one of the realest guys in hip hop.

eminem is probably the number 1 lyricist of all time, but eminem is currently the best rapper working. no one can match his ability at this point–not even jay z.
b.i.g. is the greatest rapper of all time. rapper = delivery, lyrics, style, and album relevance. obviously, b.i.g. didn’t live long enough to make a bad album but whatever.
tupac is a wild card. he wasn’t the best lyricist and all of his songs aren’t classics. I guess tupac would just be someone that has some of the best songs of all time; for example, Dear mama. sadly, tupac’s career was a reflection of his bipolar attitude.
nas = the greatest album of all time: ILLMATIC. end of discussion.
jay z = the 2nd greatest rapper of all time.

Eminem is the greatest rapper working, as well as the Greatest rapper of all time. If he were black, everyone would agree.
