It’s a shame – seems like all the old school female acts have lost their character because whenever they do a ‘comeback’ they all end up sounding the same, vanilla, factory production of R’n'B.
Remember how diverse the music game was back in the day? Kim, Mary, Faith, Da Brat, Missy, Monica, Brandy, Aaliyah and so many others.
Sisters now feel they need to either spit/sing bars about how they’re gonna sex a man up or make their own cash & take their mans along with them – and videos are weak too – either a fashion show or something you’d pop a one dollar bill into a thong to watch.
It’s a damn shame to see how far the industry has deteriorated – consumers and labels need to wake up and recognise talent for what it is and stop trying to make it conform to the bland ass circus we got today.

I actually like Officer Rozay-Lee on this but not sure about him saying “baybay baaaybaaaaaaay” made me feel a bit uncomfortable. as for Kim, take or leave. as for monica she did kill this track but part of me just wanted to hear Mary on dis riddim but overall a solid tune.

This ain’t it! & if you wanna sample “Who Shot Ya” ya better murder it like it’s suppose to be murdered. *hints* Jadakiss’ version off “The Champ Is Here Part 3″. That’s how you do it!
