Ok, well, I had to agree to some heavy tagging on this to put this exclusive up for you guys.
But I have to say, that even though this shows how hypocritical Buck is as a person, (given the total 180degrees between this conversation vs. his F- G-unit comment onstage and his other comments in interviews)…I still can’t help feeling bad for the guy. I don’t think he’s a bad person, maybe just a weak person. And, maybe there are altering substances acting as demons on his shoulder?
I dunno.
But if this doesnt really strike you as traumatic, its probably because part two was the part that made me really uncomfortable….that’s coming next.

…50 Cent treats these guys like little brothers? Are you FOR REAL? You really think G-Unit are “Homies” ?? Get real people, like Buck said 50 probably don’t even know his child’s name, he’s never been to his house, they don’t hang out counting money like in the G-Unit clothing advertisements…
G-Unit is a BUSINESS, 50 Cent owns it and he has it structured in such a way where he and ONLY he makes a significant amount of money…EVERYONE else in on the payroll…
NONE of the other people signed to G-Unit have that much money, they front as if they do in public but they really don’t. You can hear from this conversation that Buck is talking financially in the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS rather than MILLIONS..and even then he is being swallowed up by taxes and probably breaking even at the end of financial years…
Show money and stuff like that let you live flashy in the day to day but it’s things like royalties and publishing deals that guarantee long term financial success…guess who controls those things in G-Unit??? 50 Cent…Like Buck said he hasn’t seen a royalty check from G-Unit and that is quite understandable in the music biz as royalties can take years to kick in…the only thing is he probably had fuck all % points on the royalties anyway so they’re only ever gonna be in the form of a pretty small check coming in now and again anyway…
This phone call is the result of a world famous rap star tied to an unfair business contract, trying to salvage what he can of a career he’s never really had control of…
- If you were in the ghetto and 50 came and scooped you…you’d take whatever deal was offered
- If you were a world famous rap star and your income wasn’t matching your high profile, you might become frustrated too
- If you saw that your G-Unit status meant very little financially you might try and start your own label and jewelery line and focus on that instead of making money for someone who isn’t sharing a whole lot of theirs with you
- If you were kicked out a group and alienated from them (Yayo: “I don’t even know Buck”..see what I mean about the “Homie” bit??) and in financial difficulty despite being world famous…well yeah cocaine IS a helluva drug for easing the stress of such things..not the right solution but people under pressure make bad choices sometimes
- If you were tied into a contract with someone who could stop you making future earnings then yeah, you might just ring them up begging to make amends too…
And by the way, if you were worth as much as 50 Cent, actually if you were worth about a quarter of what 50 Cent is worth, would you have any problem giving your “FRIEND/HOMEY/BROTHER” $300,000 to sort out his taxes? Would you even ask for it back? Especially if you were both on an album where you make 90% of the profit and the remaining 10% is split between the other 3 people on the record???
50 Cent does NOT treat his artists well. In proportion with his earnings, he shares FUCK ALL money with his fellow “Brothers”…because at the end of the day G-Unit is a manufactured image of a fictional gang that does not exist in real life.

But I dont agree with your assessment either..
This isnt a good look for 50 Cent or G-unit by a long stretch. Its not good publicity. Its embarrassing, esp on the eve of a “group” album release. An album that Buck is on. And its probably too late to change that.
So there is no “succeeding” here.
And as for me getting “ratings”? Um…yeah I cant wait to cake off all these ratings….except that I have no ads, and my site was down all night. great.

A lot of people on here are feeling sorry for buck and I am all for letting someone apologize and squash beef but there has been a little history here before even this tape as everyone knows.
It’s obvious that this is over money and buck was feeling a little tight that 50 was taking his royalties and show money to pay himself back. Or at least a percentage. The reason why buck was probably pissed is because he’s looking at it saying 50 got 300 million why is he stressing me about 200,000. at least that’s what 50 said he let borrow. But you don’t get to be worth 300 mil by letting somebody walk around owing you $200,000.

This is just wrong! This is what happens when artist become a brand. 50 cent did not do this to expose Buck or for us to see “the real buck”. He did this to bring up the hits towards thisis50.com as well as the new gunit album(as usual). 50 cent is trying his best to stay relevant in the game. He brags about how this is just something he does and that he does not need rap anymore. Clearly it is all a lie. 50 cent can not take the idea that he is not on top anymore as far as rapping goes. That’s why he has tried to take jabs at Wayne and now T.I.
I do not think the real issue is the habit. I think the real issue is that Buck came to him confiding in him and 50 acted like he cared. 50 set the trap up for that entire interview. He probed him in all kinds of ways and the interview sounds like it was formatted of course to the audience’s liking.

Regardless of the conversation, or who is right and who is wrong, a real man dont tape a converstation (Bitch made move from a Bitchmade nigga). Sounds to me 50 realizes he cant challenge Buck on wax, so he has to compensate by putting out a private conversation amongst the two. After hearing the tape, the man came at 50 as a man and the best he could do was coherse him into a made for tv phone conversation. Alot of people make fun at buck for crying but alot of people have cried when they felt powerless. 50 and G-Unit is as about as relevant to the rap game is Michael Jackson is currently to pop music. Beefing amongst labels is very common, so what 50 and young buck is going through aint really no different. Anytime big money is involved someone in the group is going to get the shaft. With that said what is loyalty? How long can one remain loyal, when its very clear that the ones who are the closest to you dont have your best interest at heart. Business wise Buck took the approach to make amends with 50. Personally to me they have different styles and should part ways. G-Unit is starving for attention and 50 is doing business like crackheads turned informants. What grown ass man tapes a conversation or even himself ref (R Kelly)? So Buck makes diss songs is he the first I dont think and will he be the last I doubt it. If 50 had any balls whatsoever which again I doubt. Its the beginning of the end for “Wee-Unit”. Buck was the only artist I ever listened to from the group, the only respectable one on top of that. Looking forward to the next LP from Buck…it should be thought provoking with a some hatred and a lil bit of vindication in his lyrics.
