Miss Info Exclusive: An “I Get Money” Dream Team Remix?

I got a call from someone, hinting that after the historic Screamfest NYC show, where TI brought out Jay-Z and Kanye, while 50 Cent and Diddy ran onstage to share the..um, limelight….these human franchises continued the momentum by moving on to the studio.
From what I hear, 50, Diddy, Jay-Z and Kanye all recorded verses for a remix to “I Get Money.” But with this much starpower involved, there’s more diplomatic negotiation to deal with than a UN Peace Treaty. Who gets first shine? When will this song get released? Who does it benefit the most? Will both Kanye and 50 get dibs on the record?…….These questions need to be addressed…because, for example, it wouldn’t make sense for Kanye to help promote 50’s project.
But maybe Jay-Z could make everyone promise that the remix doesnt get released until after Sept. 11th….that might solve the problem, right? ;
Now I have a feeling that only 3 out of the 4 artists will end up on the official release, but that’s still a huge deal. And knowing how the web works, that lost 4th verse will end up out in the world at some point….just maybe after September….um….18th. (hint hint)

This would be great for hip hop, It was good when (Ti, Weezy, Fat Joe, Akon, and Khaled) did the Takin Ova thing… But this would be bigger than that…
These are all Legit Music Hall OF Famers… BIG for hip hop if it gets done…Hope it Goes down…
PS. Wonder if Ludacris’s verse would make the track?

I think that they should split it : 50 on “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” and Kanye on “I Get Money”

@King – I’ve heard a remix of Stronger that airs on UK radio that has 50 doin the intro, probably done b4 Def Jam pushed up Kanye’s release date but,it was done all the same. However I do hate when 2 many people jump on a remix. It’s just 2 much and drags on and loses its impact. (We’re Takin Over bores me after TIs bars). I think the IGM remix would have the most impact w/ the top 3 guys on the Forbes list, Jay, 50 and (can’t believe I’m sayin this) Puffy. All I ask is that Puffy is relegated to his old pre-rapper self and just adlib some “woohs”. The Luda verse that’s floatin out there is hot too, what do we do with that? It’s already cut, might as well add that in too. But after that, that’s it. No 15 rappers on one song.

1-competing with 50 for the better selling album and then getting on his joint?
2-kanye does’nt have the kind of paper that 50,jay,and diddy have therefore it would take something away from the song.
3-they should keep it all the way ny.we need this now more then ever!

50 is a competitive dude. He always says that he’s a good songwriter so let’s see what he can do on a Kanye track.
It’s just a way to see them spittin’ on the same beat. that’s just good healthy hip-hop competition.
It ‘ll eventually allow us to see who actually is the best behind a microphone.
The “I Get Money RMX” with T.I, Jay and Diddy should be renamed “I Get (REAL) Money”!

Okay, I’m not much of a Kanye or Fifty fan.. but Mr. West easily outshines 50.. sure some of his biggest hits where penned by RhymeFest, but atleast he can rap.. If this remix shit is true, the only person 50 will outshine is Diddy. Because everyone from Cassidy to Papoose, Luda and Chamillionaire has ripped Curtis on this.. ‘Nuff said

King of NY, you’re a dumbass. Kanye has classics to his name, Curtis has ‘In Da Club’, a song about clubs. ‘Ye hands down made the ‘Blueprint’ a classic on production alone. Then there’s his own hits: Through the Wire, All Falls Down, Jesus Walks, Gold Digger, Touch the Sky, Heard ‘Em Say, Crack Music, Diamonds From Sierra Leone, Can’t Tell Me Nothing, Stronger … and that’s just the singles, go listen to the albums man. I can’t even stand to listen to one Curtis song halfway through, he isn’t saying a damn thing and he’s calling you an idiot while he’s rapping. He’s dumbing down so much, he’s making you dumber. Listen to some Kanye and read a book, your brain will thank you.

word . . cold97 just summed it up. 50 is a God when is comes to the music business. note that i did not say music. he does whatever ploy possible before an album release to help it sell (see Game/jada/everyone in ny beef).
and let me say this as well. kanye is far better lyrically than 50. but to think he will outsell him is just silly. 50 has smashed him on his first 2, theres no reason to think this will change (as in a 6-7 mil swing in sales). put your biases aside and take a deep breath.

He just felt kinda challenged when he heard that the Kanye album was to be released the same day and said: let’s find out who’s gonna sell more and that if he was not outselling Kanye he’d better quit (making music).
