Meek Mill’s new album CHAMPIONSHIPS is now two days away. Leading up to its release, the MMG lyricist is busy on a promo run to promote the record. Currently on the west coast, Meek Mill stopped by The Ellen Show this week. His first-ever appearance on the popular daytime television show, the Philadelphia native sat down to discuss the first time he went to prison, his well-documented recent legal issues and prison stint, and watching Ellen on tv while locked up. Meek would speak on the #FREEMeekMill movement that followed, being released from prison earlier this year, and now being the face of criminal justice reform.

CHAMPIONSHIPS will feature appearances by Cardi B, Ella Mai, Kodak Black, Fabolous and Anuel AA. Watch the interview below.
