After visits to The Angie Martinez Show, The Breakfast Club and ESPN’s First Take this week, Meek Mill continued his media run with an appearance on HOT 97. Sitting down with the radio show’s morning crew, Meek discussed everything ranging from his past run-ins with Philadelphia police, his legal issues, dealing with probation for ten years, using his position to help educate young minorities and more. The MMG rapper reacted to first hearing Beyoncé say ‘Free Meek’ on DJ Khaled’s “Top Off,” noticing a shift in worldwide support once JAY-Z brought attention to Meek’s legal situation on various nationwide platforms, and people criticizing his relationship with 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

For the first-time, Meek reveals he spoke with Kanye West just minutes before referencing the “Old Kanye” in an Instagram post. When asked if a potential collaboration with past foe Drake could happen, Meek says “it’s possible.” The 31-year-old would continue to say he has no hate towards the Toronto superstar despite their heavy 2015 beef. When the subject of new music came up at the 1:10:20 mark, Meek decided to kick an acapella freestyle.
