True Hip-Hop Stories – Masta Ace from D-Nice on Vimeo.
love this.
Still wish Kool G Rap had been part of this.
But you know what I heard was the problem…..
…it had to do with a certain video vixen from GRap’s past.

Sooo dope. Classic story for a classic song. Just the way it’s shot makes it feel real intimate. And MC Shan? What a douche lol. If BET can do “American Gangster” why not a “Hip-Hop 101″ type show? And MC Shan? What a douche lol.
Prolly too much like right. Master P, I’m available if you need a programming consultant lol.
P.S. Superhead strikes again! =)

Yo if BET actually aired shows like this I would actually watch it… Isn’t this type of stuff what BET was created for? Not fake ass “The Hills” rip-offs and reruns of HBO originals… Or am I crazy?

The funny thing is I remember when that record came out that beat was the first truly ill beat I ever heard and the song was a masterpiece to me.
After that I knew who Craig G was, Masta Ace, Kane and Marley Marl…
…but all I knew about MC Shan was he got crushed by BDP. If he had been on that song his role in at least my personal version of history might be a little more dignified.
