Making the Band’s Sara Stokes arrested for domestic abuse

wow…Making the Band alum Sara Stokes allegedly pulled a Keke Wyatt last week. According to TMZ, Stokes was arrested for domestic battery after she got into an argument with her husband in their Moreno Valley, CA home, and then stormed out of the house, tripping and falling out the door…
“We’re told Sara — who hurt her head in the fall — grabbed a knife and stabbed Tony in the arm — while their 3 kids watched.
Paramedics and cops came and Stokes was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence. The D.A. is deciding whether to charge her.
Sara’s lawyer, Eric Kayira, tells us, “Sara and Tony have a very passionate and loving relationship that on August 2, while having an evening of fun, she slipped and fell, hitting her head heavily on the ground and somehow in the process of helping her Tony got injured.”

But does it make sense that she hurt her face like that from tripping? Seems like a line out of Suzanne Vega’s “Luka”. Is it possible that the spousal abuse went both ways?

Wow! Seriously. There were at least 43 lies in the lawyer’s statement. Dag, son! When they do a “True Hollywood Story” on this Making the Band cast, it will have to be 3 hours long.

As to her situation I saw this coming a very long time ago.. Dude always seemed like the Ike Turner type, had he gassed up that the group was soo bad and she was wasting her time until conflict took over and they eventually vanished…

…..am I wrong for saying that even in the small amount of interaction we saw on Making the Band that the idea of “control” from Sara’s husband doesn’t seem to surprise me in hearing this story?
Is she even still singing or just going the “modeling” route?

Wtf? Why is the D.A. “deciding” whether to charge her, she damn-there stabbed someone. If she was a man, she’ll be locked up like a dog with fair hearing, anyhow she always seemed like her mentals were a little imbalalanced. She had that quiet girl ready to flip demeanor about her.

Nah man, eff that I know he abused her verbally from the show, but I don’t care if he hit her or not, why the hell you picking up a knife. It don’t matter, both ways, one way, don’t stab nobody. All the times males take so much stuff for physically abusing girls, now people wanna feel sorry for her. Yes she could’ve tripped and gotten those marks on her face, it is possibly, she even said she thought he tripped her. Women u don’t chop of a guys stuff, pour boiling water on him while sleeping, glue his joint to his stomach, and file false rape charges (PAC, Tyson(maybe), Kobe, and Pittsburg QB). I don’t want her to get charges pressed against her though, I do feel bad for her, and the courts gonna fuck up they life and get cps involved, and might take the kids away. Damn push a woman to her limits and they’ll do anything. I’m not supporting abuse though, I just don’t like all the slack guys take when they get a charge of domestic violence against women, and yall quick to judge.

If anyone tries to justify what she did then ur dumb. If he hit her she should have called officer ricky. That’s like saying yo maybe rihanna hit chris first, that’s why he beat her up, so it’s justified. You can justify it for a girl, but not for a man, family violence is wrong either way it goes.

she tried to leave his controlling crazy ass,he whipped her and threw her down a small flight of stairs,she stabbed him in defense and the lawyers are just trying to keep everything to a minimal.

I don’t know Info….I’m no Dr. but those do look like marks consistent with a fall,IMO. They look like scrapes or abrasions of some sort to me, especially on the forehead & next to her eye..if she got hit, I would think there would be some sort of bruising, seeing that she is a fair skinned chick. I also noticed that there is a some insinuation that the Husband is somehow at fault here. From the TMZ report where do you get these conclusions. Furthermore, that statement is from Sara’a lawyer, not the Husband’s so why would he be spinning it to cover for him, wouldn’t the lawyer want to get out that there was abuse coming from the husband or if she was really just defending herself?? I didn’t really watch MTB like that to know if her Husband is tha A-hole that everyone’s saying he is, but, why is it so hard to believe that there are women out there that are just as abusive as men, there doesn’t always have too be an excuse. As for the D.A., seems he’s giving Sara the same benefit of the doubt that everybody else is. Double standard, but, such is life I suppose. Pray for all involved, especially the children.

yupp. it was always in the making. before the show. after the show. i always thought she would pull a lefteye though and do some gasolina…but oh well. she went for the knife instead. man. i can’t believe those two. hahaha stay together and work it out because of the LOVE and the KIDS. what you don’t get is that you both damaged. you needed to break that relationship permanently and give it A LOT of time to breath. none of these breaks oh we’re working on it crap. i mean how many times does he have to beat your ass before you say that’s it. and how many times does she need to get at you like she’s crazy for you to break it off. you know how people talk about enabling people with drug habits. people with anger problems also get enabled by those around them and it helps feed the fire. i mean the kids aren’t even that old now, but imagine how this could have gone on their entire lives and then try to imagine those kids becoming adults. people don’t get that young people have sponge minds. they see everything, hear everything. we may not understand stuff and it might lie dormant for a long time until the memories are triggered but we remember. i mean people are always surprised when a child displays the same history of the parent/parents, and it really shouldn’t be. it doesn’t always have to be a genetic hereditary thing. it can be a learned factor that is so ingrained that people can’t even recognize it. my brothers and i said we would never be like our parents…just like my dad said he would never be like his no good father (yeah my pops dad, and even his dad’s dad are all huge b*tches. what can you do)…lol and then my bros start the drinking, they have the temper/anger problems, they have this whole they are so much better than everyone else, if god says so then it must be, and they start hitting the females hahaha and then say hmmm this is how my dad treated my moms and i know it’s wrong but it’s okay if we do it to our girls/friends. seriously. i mean i’m desitined to be like my moms and let some dude do me dirty. i wouldn’t be surprised if i fall into that pattern. and i hope i don’t. infact i know i won’t. no mother effin way am i going to let somehting that is cahracteristic of my family to encapsulate who i am. but then again i can always go the way of some of these females and go across that sanity line. it’s just sad. you think you know yourself and then something happens where you learn you don’t know nothing at all. oh well. such is life.

reading comprehension is very necessary. I think she is totally culpable if she stabbed her husband. But, the fact that she just tripped while exiting the house and somehow got a bunch of bruises/scratches on her face in the process seems suspect. When you trip, does your face look like that? or do your knees and hands get messed up.

lol ahahahaa her face isn’t a result of tripping and falling. i’ve fallen many times and i’ve seen people thrown down the stairs, and i’ve fallen down the stairs and hahah that is not what it looks like. i’ve also scraped my hands, elbows, knees, hip feet many many times hahaha and you can tell the difference. they were fighting. who cares. she stabbed his ass. lol. that’s what you get when you dumb enough to be in love and then stay in a situation you know is dead wrong. idiots all around. yeah i can preach but i’ll get mine. karma’s a bitch. she should be in jail. this isn’t even about chris brown, but i hope one day you will all know how it is to have someone you in a relationship with try to push you the heck out of a car, choke you, hit you and you have a seatbelt on. good for all of them. men, women, whoever. when you do wrong it’s wrong. there’s no two ways about it. she looks better than how i’ve seen some people in the same situation look. she’ll feel though. anyways someone needs to get those kids. and maybe try getting all the people in that family some threapy.
