Often Lupe’s personality rubs me the wrong way (he was especially snooty the other day at the station) but I definitely cosign his outrage on the unacceptable violence that’s plaguing my hometown this year (and over the years as well). I’m glad he made noise on this.
I remember way back in the day, the case of 11 yr old Yummy Sandifer really shook the city up and exposed the incompetence of the family court system and children protective services. I wonder if the high-profile nature of the Jennifer Hudson family triple murders will do the same for Chicago in 2008.

dude is right. im from da south bronx so i know how he feels. nothing is being done to stop da violence. radio isnt allowed to play conscious music any more. i hear everybody saying that da killer of J hudson’s family should get life or the death penalty. OK… then wat? prison is full already. y isnt any thing being done to PREvent the murders. afterschool programs and a couple of gyms cant solve the problem. the way we think is the problem. our women must stop accepting fake thugs and lying hustlers. half the dumb shhht we do is to impress some chick.

good men are out there but most women choose the dumbest ass they could find. my oldest brother is serving 30 yrs to life for expiring a young man that his wife said was tryin to holla at her. oh she was charged also. he was just as dumb as her. that level of thinking has to stop. cause of their actions 2 kids are without their parents…was it worth it? i was dumb wen i was 18 but then i realized there are NO WOMEN in prison and im not GAY

lupes personality also rubs me the wrong way. im glad you also see it. at a concert. he was so rude to me. after that i stopped listening to his music altogether. but i stopped to watch this because the issue that hes speaking on is very important and everyone should be listening too. he makes some valid points and im glad that hes taking a stand. something must be done. we cant be wasting away. thats what they want us to do.
