Seriously, this teaser for the season 5 opener on Jan. 21st is so chock full of confounding images that my pea-sized brain can’t wrap itself around all of them.
I see a newborn baby (is that Sun and Jin’s baby?), someone being thrown off a balcony, Kate in her criminal court pant suit being locked in a room, (what in the world is that swinging thing shown right after Kate says “open this door”??), a hooded figure writing formulas on a chalkboard and drifting towards a computer, what in the world does Sawyer say to Daniel? “something something blew up on your damn boat”?, and worst but not least…there’s more backwards audio, which some LOST-stans think is Locke saying “am I? when?”***.
I need to lay down.

Is it Jan 21st yet. Been a loyal fan of the show since the begining, but I have to admit it was getting alittle stale for a minute, I think it was probably the season finale when Jack and Kate were shown off the island, then they came back with this last season that was great, that got the show back on track and getting really good. Now that they have a end date planned, If I’m correct, there will be this season and one more, to end in 2010, so dont know how many episodes, I’d say 16 episodes each season, so 32 left I’d say, so they have an end in site, so now they can start to wrap everything up. Def one of the best shows on tv without a doubt, now that Sopranos, Wire, and The Shield are all gone, this is one of the last great shows left, there are some still going, True Blood was great, Entourage, Prison Break is ok, Nip Tuck etc, but Lost is def the best shit on. Cant wait for the new season. It took a while, but last time when they split it up, you had to wait months in between, that sucked, so atleast now it will air every week Jan to May, so thats good.

The lady locked up in the room in the pant suit is Sun, not Kate. That baby is the same baby heard on the tape when the island moved to the 70s…U know, on that video from comic-con???
The hooded figure looks like Charlie IMO…Sawyer says to Daniel “Everyone I know or love blew up on your boat”.
BTW Miss Info, I saw Matthew Abbadon on the island in that last trailor (the one played on Greys Anatomy), after watching in high quality….dOpe!

I was in Vegas memorial day weekend in 05, in my hotel room i saw like 30 minutes of lost…..other than that, I have never seen the show

I think this might be the most anticipated season premiere since Season 4 of The Wire for me.
I am absolutely going to go nuts waiting for this it seems so far away.

Nah, hes not on Greys, I meant the Lost trailor that played during that Greys episode…He was on the island, wearing fatigues with these other dudes pointing arrows at Miles and Charlotte.

Haha Lost addicts are funny, personally I also lost interest after the 2nd series, it was when I heard they were gonna drag it on for so long I figured i’ll wait till then done then watch it all like a giant movie.
I want Entourage back already!

I’m with ya Info! I bought me one of them thare big screen LCD HDTVs just to watch Lost, Heroes and 24 in high def.
And I’m not even TiVo’ing anything if possible. I’ll be in front of that thing at the same bat time and on the same bat channel every week damnit.
Yeah, I’m full fledged PARTICIPATING in the whole pop culture thing. ABC advertisers love me.

I swear that is Claire 0:51, but I don’t know, it could be Juliet. I have heard rumors that the figure in black in Charlie, but since it was Dominics choice to leave the show, so doubt it.
Some other things I spotted
Miles is on the ground yelling “Runn!” Now, why would he be doing that?
Somebody is on fire at :37!
Does anybody no what is going on at around 4 seconds? That looks like Sayid, but I can’t really tell. What IS that? A plane? Hmmm. And what were they scratching into the glass? I’ll bet it has something to do with the chalkboard. One more week!
PS: I think it’s Sun who says “Open this door”, not Kate
