Hot97′s Mister Cee dedicated his Throwback at Noon mix to the late rapper today, commemorating the 13th Anniversary of his untimely death. Yes sir, shame on me…this is why DJ`s like Mr. Cee is so vital to our culture…Although Fat Joe periodically mentions Big Pun, I honestly forgot Pun impact on hip hop…Thank you for checking me….

Never forgotten Pun’s contribution to hip hop..never will..literally one of the greatest lyricists of all time..
can only imagine if he lived to reach his prime..

This was amazing. I really do not listen to big pun on my own will. Why? well it makes me tons of sad. I makes me sad that he is not appreciated and his death still hunts me. Every so often i dust of my old big pun cds and blast them for a couple of hours. But it really makes me sad.
