Lil Wayne’s “Da Da Da” video: shot in Miami right before his jail bid

MTV just premiered this rock-ish clip from Weezy and ¡Mayday! that was shot in Miami right before (one of the times) he turned himself in to the court….(thanks to Shake/2DopeBoyz for the heads up)
Director David Rousseau spoke on the pressure of the shoot:
“It was basically a ‘Mission: Impossible’ [scenario]: This is your mission if you choose to accept it. Everybody is onboard, because everybody knows what’s at stake. Unlike T.I. and some of these other guys that’s disappeared while they were in, the point is to keep Wayne [visible] on TV and everything for whatever time he’s in. There was a plan in action. Slim and Baby really could foresee that. He’s at the height of his career. You can’t let that momentum slip.”

did the director say “unlike some of the others like TI that disappeared while they were away?” Swear I heard and saw TI on TV/radio everyday!!! not too mention that club banger he featured on with MJB i hear that everywhere! director has no idea what hes speakin of!

SPARE ME!…I understand he wants to broaden his fanbase, but dont let it sound like your trying too hard. i see where he’s been trying to go with it but its just not clicking. i guess to the average 13-18 year old, this is completely cool and original…

Eh. This is bs. Hopefully when Wayne gets out he’ll be past this crap (rock-o-tune or whatever it’s called) and go back to just rappin’.
