The countdown to Lil Wayne’s alleged “final” album seems to have begun. Earlier today, Mel Smith from Cash Money tweeted that new music from weezy and his Carter 5 album are on the way. For over a year now, Wayne has been saying that this will be his final album and he will retire from rap after its release.
“I want to retire after Tha Carter V, which I hope would be my last album, Weezy told Jimmy Kimmel earlier this year.
Happy Friday!! New YMCMB music coming soon!! Carter 5

Guess all things must end. I think I saw it on Complex but I really think Wayne should just sitdown with one producer and craft a complete album. You can say alot about Drake and 40 but you can’t say that the albums they put out don’t flow perfectly. Not that he has anything to prove but that single focus might bring out the best in Weezy.
