Lil’ Wayne Hospitalized Again Following Second Seizure (UPDATED)
Posted by Mr.North under not good for hip hop , not good for humanity , sigh....[13] Comments
This is not good for Lil’ Wayne. After being released from hospital for what was originally reported as “seizure-like symptoms,” then later confirmed by a rep as dehydration and migraines, Lil’ Wayne suffered his second seizure attack in 24 hours shortly after being released from a Texas hospital. On flight from Texas to Los Angeles, Wayne began to convulse and his plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Louisiana. The Grammy Award-winning rapper was admitted to a local hospital for treatment, but no further details are known.

UPDATE: According to a rep for Lil’ Wayne (via MTV News), he’s at home in Louisiana resting after suffering another migraine, not a seizure. The reports from TMZ were “exaggerated.”

I am no doctor but I just don’t get how these fucking rappers have seizures or seizure-like symptoms and then turn around after they are released and jump on another plane.
I understand that they have commitments and need to be certain places but one night of rest, some water and a good meal is simple…
So my question is what are these rappers taking that’s causing them to have seizures…. Is it really just a stressful schedule and/or late night studio sessions with drugs and live performances with pregamed dope sessions? Then private flights just trigger the seizure?
Have we heard about other celebrities who have experienced seisures on airplanes since Rick Ross? So two rappers have back-to-back seizures within a year of each other? Why?
And who are the dickhead doctors who cleared these guys to fly within 24 hours of a seisure attack?

I know your not home and get sick, an youre unsure of the effects of your conditions, one of the first things you wanna do is get home.

Damn, hopefully they find the cause and can treat it. Not a fan of Waynes but it would be a blow to hip hop if anything terrible happens.

Why would it be such a blow? Hip-hop survived without Tupac and Biggie, I’m quite sure it would do just fine without Lil’ Wayne.

Yes, you are right but losing any rapper is a blow especially when they have such a massive following. Not saying blow as in Hip Hop -500 Health, just it would hurt a few people… Hip Hop was no where near as mainstream when biggie and Pac were alive as it is now with lil wayne all over the radio. In Australia anyway.

I don’t think it survived, dude. It’s still pretty fucked up. However, Wayne is not on that level. Not that I wish him ill will. hope he beats this.

That’s my question exactly…
Plus I don’t think average people would get cleared to fly right after a seizure but these rappers think they invincible I guess.
