Bad news for Young Money fans: Lil Wayne and Birdman have yet to kiss and make up. Rolling Stone got on the phone with Weezy last week to talk about his bombshell of a $51 million lawsuit against his long-time label, and while the rapper remained understandably tightlipped about the whole thing (“That’s a legal matter, homeboy”), he did say that he and Birdman are no longer speaking.

“I have no words. I’m super-numb to it, to tell you the truth… I’m human. But it’s nothing that a good blunt can’t cure.”
Wayne also confirmed that his long-delayed album Tha Carter V is 100% finished (“Cake baked, icing on top, name on top, candles lit. I would have released it yesterday if I could. But it’s a dead subject right now. It’s a jewel in the safe. It’s that stash-house money”), while The Free Weezy Album will be dropping in March.
Personal and professional drama aside, Wayne named Rae Sremmurd and Migos as two of his favorite new acts, but admitted that he’s beginning to feel out of touch with today’s youth. “Sometimes I don’t know what the hell they’re talking about on Instagram,” he joked. “I had to call [my daughter Reginae], like, ‘What the hell is “on fleek”?'”
I feel you, Wayne. And I’m only 22.
