More Gold From Lil Wayne’s Deposition Video #TheGiftThatKeepsOnGiving

Rare in life are those moments that just bring people together…like the way we’ve all bonded over Lil Wayne’s deposition footage.
Yesterday, we posted 5 minutes of Lil Wayne in a mental battle with Pete Ross, a lawyer for filmmaker QD3. Weezy is suing Q (that’s Quincy Jones’ son, and all around nice guy) for his fascinating 2009 documentary The Carter.
First Wayne was all on board with the film, opening up his life, his family, his creative process and his vices to the film crew. But when the end result was a bit too raw, he called it a “scandalous portrayal” and claimed he didn’t give permission. Now Wayne is also suing for illegal use of his music….
Well, thank you, Patron Saints of Litigation! Without you, we’d never see Lil Wayne tell Pete Ross that he can’t remember spending a year at Rikers. That he doesn’t hire photographers because he’s a super star (very accurate). And that the lawyer won’t have anyone to save him in real life. (Weezy later claimed he was just talking to himself, LOL)
So. Much. Gold. Watch it over and over and over, right here.
But TMZ released another clip…
And this time, Lil Wayne namesdrops a pretty influential member of his entourage….
Watch it after the jump…
(Lawyer) And who did you tell? Do you have any idea?
(Weezy) No. I just told the people that handles those situations for me.
(Lawyer) Who would that have been?
(Weezy) That would be the peoples that handles those situations for me.
(Lawyer) Can you name some names?
(Weezy) Sorry, I can’t recall the names off top.
(Lawyer) Who are the people that likely would be told by you?
(Weezy) The first person that likely that would have been told by me would be God because I tell him everything. (Lawyer: Who is that?) God. G.O.D.
(Lawyer) Oh, as in God who rules over us all.
(Weezy) Yes Sir.
(Lawyer) And you do you remember in particular what you told to God that you didn’t like about the documentary?
(Weezy) No, I don’t.

Sorry, I don’t see the gold here, nor the comedy – he’s not very witty. I just see a petulant obnoxious negro that hopefully goes down for making thinly veiled threats to an attorney.

don’t know if i’d call him a “petulant obnoxious negro”, but i definitely think you miss the point.

A black man is not suppose to do that.. he’s suppose to grab his ankles and bow to mighty whitey so when one says fuck you and your process he’s a “petulant obnoxious negro” but when the white guy like the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers does the same thing hell even worst its funny….
You people disgust me!

Not a Lil Wayne fan but why should he go down for making threats to a lawyer who is not GOD but perhaps, most likely a scum bag. Finally publicly he is a role model for young black men….dont take it in the a$$ by those who try to oppress any longer. Definitely NOT the “petulant obnoxious negro” you so badly want him to be. Now if only we can get him to be a better well rounded human being.

The sad part about it is this is all a front for his image because at the end of the day youre the “suing” them not the other way around you idiot!!!
You basically called the police on them n took them to court. Stop Frontin!!

funny, yes. sad, even more so. He’s become a nuisance and most of today’s youth think this is what’s cool. What he should be recognized for is his manipulation of said youth. he’s made enough for his family to be well off for years to come, yet he sets the intelligent artists back because this is what he wants to be seen. He’s not tough. and he definitely doesn’t portray the gangster he says he is. Knock off Weezy, you’re a waste at the moment. Go draw some better thought out publicity stunt in ur mind

I don’t get what any of this deposition has to do with Wayne’s claim that they used his music without permission. In copyright law, you have to have a signed written document authorizing you to use copyrighted music in a film. If they don’t have that signed document, everything the lawyer is asking in this deposition (or, rather, in the clips from this deposition) is pointless. Sure, Wayne could cooperate and actually answer the questions, but I assume something happened that is not included in the clips that made him decide to be non-cooperative? Then again, judging by how he treated interviewers in the documentary film in question, maybe not…
I wouldn’t say any of this is funny in any case. Not chuckle-worthy, certainly not “comedy gold”.

This nigga is a cornball.. 1) He’s clearly trying to front like the “I’m so fucking paid, this shit don’t matter right here” like Mark Zuckerburg, in the movie Social Network. 2) This nigga is a fucking lame, he talk all that crazy gangster shit to a white dude, but can’t get at Pusha-T hard?? This kid is a fucking lame, there is a reason NY don’t fuck with him. He’s a lame

“Fuck Pusha T and anyone that love him.”
Listen, that song was no good, but if you’re talking about going at someone, Pusha T is the one pump faking. Even after that, he has never said the man’s name.
and Wayne IS paid.
c’mon bruh.. your post reeks of bias.

This isnt fly. He (or his lawyers) go thru the process of bringing a lawsuit against QD3 and then he comes to court and acts like a jackass. That’s not fly, that’s stupid. To the person who said that Wayne should let the court fuck him, then he shouldn’t have brought the lawsuit.
I don’t know what court this is but in most situations, if he had blantantly threatened an officer of the court he would cited for contempt and thrown in jail. I’m shocked the judge just sat there while this dude was buggin.

Dear Thing 1 and Thing 2,
Since I have your attention, I want to make sure to make the most of it; aren’t I sooo thoughtful?!
Truf- I was only referring to the facts. You see, you agreed with Hammer Time over there that the contents are “personified ignorance” which sounds to me like you frequent the page enough to know that this is something that is often “celebrated” on missinfo. Hmmm, so you’re often on this blog? & you know this is baffonary, but you still chew on it? And you’re mad at the taste? Right. Again, not patrolling, just stating the obvious.
Sangano- your weak attempt of a joke made me chuckle…thank you! I’m sorry that you believe its a travesty how peasants and noble men mingle on this blog but we cant all have your brilliant brains! However, your assumption that i deduce negative comments as invalid is what’s really illogical… actually more like ignorant. I don’t believe I referred to your comment as “invalid” I just stated a mere observation. If we were analyzing your argument using basic philosophy of logic it would just be FALSE. I guess, you’re not numerator either… I would even say youre not even the buffer in this fraction.
Good day Sirs!
