Lil Wayne Comments on ‘Tha Carter IV’ Leak: ‘I’m Glad’

MTV host Jim Cantiello asked Weezy about his thoughts on Tha Carter IV leaking early. I guess Weezy was trying to say he’s happy about the leak, but his statement sounds like gibber gabber to me.
“We did real good this time, real good,” Wayne told MTV News. “It just means people want to hear it,” he said. “I mean, ’cause there’re people’s albums that come out that can be leaked and don’t leak, so I’m glad mines leaked.”

c4 breaks itune records “according to cash money/universal records” I wont believe it until Apple confirms because theres alotta speculation that Baby is boosting the numbers

I guess that was Wayne’s clouded way of taking a cheap shot at the “watch the throne” no leak strategy. Leaks can be good form of promotion if done correctly I understand what he was trying to translate but, as far as an entire album leaking ;that’s never good. They’re projecting 700 k for Carter IV so i guess leaks don’t seem to bother him, but to other artist where every cent counts it will hurt them and kill their entire marketing strategy lol

his album sounds of misery and woe, best song is the one he not even on

It was a bad body of work it was a bunch of singles merged as one album. His last mixtape ” sorry 4 the wait” was better than carter 4 least the concept was “current hot songs with lil wayne freestyles” to hold the fans off till carter VI. I like wayne at times but im sorry this album seemed to have no flow to it.
