Lil’ Wayne is taking matters into his own hands. As an on going legal battle with Cash Money Records continues, the rapper is working on music, and now fans can expect a free album in the near future.

Taking to Twitter early Thursday morning, Lil’ Wayne announced The Free Weezy Album. “The Free Weezy Album…komin soon#FWA,” said the face of YMCMB. “Free album. Free Weezy season. The Free Weezy Album,” he reiterated shortly after.

Wanting off of Cash Money Records and to be free of CEO Bryan “Birdman” Williams, Lil’ Wayne recently filed a $51 million lawsuit, centered around the delay of his long-awaited album Tha Carter V. Blaming Birdman for the delay, it appears the rapper’s plan of action is to release free projects.

Just last month Weezy dropped the mixtape Sorry 4 The Wait 2, and earlier this week, DJ Drama confirmed Dedication 6 is also on the way this year. “Sorry For The Wait 2. Carter V. Dedication 6,” said DJ Drama in an Instagram post, hinting that a follow-up to 2014’s Dedication 5 is coming.
