Lil Wayne Admits Pusha T Diss Was Just a Reaction: “It Really Wasn’t No Beef”
Posted by Mikey Fresh under beef[15] Comments
I really hope this doesn’t stop Pusha T from dropping a response record to Weezy’s “diss track” against him (for hip-hop’s sake). In a recent interview with the AP, Wayne totally downplayed the “beef” and admitted that he has no problems with Pusha. He says he reacted off straight emotion. Now that’s not gangsta. Haha. This whole situation is turning into a straight snooze fest if you ask me. I guess beef is bad anyway. yada yada.
AP: What’s next musically? And what happened in the beef between you and Pusha T?
Lil Wayne: I just finished recording my “I Am Not a Human Being II” album. And we’re starting to work on the Young Money album. … It really wasn’t no beef, you know. It was just me. I just reacted. Just a reaction, a simple reaction. I don’t apologize for it because I’m human. But it was just my human reaction. I don’t take it back. But there’s no beef. Beef is a whole different thing. … I’ll move on.
Peep what Rosenberg said in response to Wayne’s Summer Jam explanation after the jump…

I see Rosenberg is trying to get 15 more minutes. No one outside of the tri-state area even really cares at this point. Now that I think about it, no one there cares either.

So Rosenberg responding to Wayne is trying to get some fame? I don’t think so.

Wayne should be quiet about the whole situation. I like the fact that he talks about respecting women yet his lyrics are straight up disrespecting them. Also, I think people forget how Wayne has 4-5 baby mommas. What a role model who is nothing but respectful. SMH…..

You’re part of Hip Hop…you’re open to criticism, Man, Woman or Child. Until we get some Honesty in Hip Hop, we’re gonna have to keep putting up with this BS. Props to Rosenberg!!
