Well the movie doesn’t look that good to begin with. I mean the acting is poor from all ends, from the clips of naturi playing kim I saw today and previously I can definitely see why kim is pissed off about this bullshit mockery of a movie.
Ms. Wallace has been running her mouth about people mooching off biggie for years especially kim, puffy, cease, etc but then she conjures up a biggie movie that looks absolutely horrible. this is how you pay respect to your son? if this was going straight to DVD then I could understand but come the fuck on! I’d be pissed the fuck off too!!!!!!!!!!

At the end of the day I respect anyones right to try to clear their name. A reputation is hard to build and harder to maintain. Rev Wright worked his whole life to build a legacy, it was destroyed with a few youtube clips. Kim wasn’t his wife but anybody who knows anything knows he loved her and she was morethen his JO. I haven’t seen the clips but from hearing Ms. Wallace talk about Kim before I know she don’t like her and if a moms don’t think a girls worthy of her son she will talk greasy every chance she can.
At the same time this is B.I.G., and his moment you don’t want to see it f*cked up by this. JM f*cked up, Puff keep putting out these crazy albums, just let the movie be alright.

Sad to say yes he did marry Faith and how long did it take for them to break up? Listen as a fulltime Brooklyn Representer, I can tell you first hand, that Kim is being like every…ok, most…well the chicks that I dealt with in BK. They always have it out with the dudes moms, that’s the way it is, then later come over the house like nothin’ happened.
But, in the case of a Jamaican mother, Good Luck Kimmie, I dealt with one of those and the root she will put on that ass will have you licking your armpits at your next show….for no apparent reason.

I agree w/ JustICE. It would be interesting to hear what Kim has to say. I was thinking that as I read Faith’s book. I enjoyed the book alot! I’m a big B.I.G. fan and grew up in the era of Bady Boy. So this really takes me back. But I found so inaccuracies in Faith’s book…when she first came out she was over weight and her style wasn’t really all that. So why would B.I.G. ask her to take Kim shopping w/ her and w/ her to the Gym? And she claims she was in the studio w/ B.I.G. when he recorded Unbelieveable, but Primo tells that story over and over about him getting head right b4 he stepped into the booth and putting it in his rhyme. Anyway, Kim was the jump off but Big flaunted her as his chick in the public eye more than he did Faith (it may not have been that way behind the scenes, but that’s the way he made it seem in public)so, what are we left to think. Big was just as much if not even more at fault than Kim. So let her speak. I agree she should keep her comments about Ms. Wallace to herself, cause that would be mad disrepectful. But she does have a story to tell and everyone else has told their’s. But I heard after the movie Ms. Wallace spoke highly abt Kim and basically apoligized for the things she sd about her in the past cause she had no idea what her son had put Kim thru, sooo what exactly is Kim pissed about?

HHW: What are your thoughts on the Biggie movie?
LK: I want the world to be clear; I have NOTHING to do with that movie. That movie is Faith and Ms. Wallace’s story. Most of the story is bullshit especially the way my character is being depicted. There are a lot of lies in the movie. I had no idea it was even going into production, until one day I got a call from my manager at the time, Lance “Un” Riviera, and he said ” Yo! You know they caste this girl Naturi [Naughton] to play you in the Biggie movie,” I was outraged. I was upset, because to me, to do an autobiography about someone’s life, you want it to be as authentic as possible. I was not involved in the movie. They never came and asked me anything about Biggie, but again this was Faith and Ms. Wallace’s movie.
HHW: So it’s safe to say you didn’t approve of the casting?
LK: I couldn’t believe it. I was outraged.
HHW: So what did you do?
LK: I went with my lawyer and my manager over to the production company’s office in downtown Manhattan, (I never went to the set) and I demanded to see the script along with the audition tapes to see all of the people who auditioned for this role, and find out why they didn’t contact me to help pick who was gonna play me. When I viewed the tapes, Naturi was the worst out of all of them. Regardless of the fact she looked nothing like me, when I saw the audition tapes, she was the worst and I had no idea why they picked her. It seemed she was the total opposite of what I am. In my opinion a really seasoned actress would have contacted the original person they are portraying to deliver their best performance ever. The only two people who know me are God and myself so the audience is getting jiped in this movie.
HHW: Who was involved in selecting her?
LK: I have no idea. Again this is Faith and Ms. Wallace’s story. I would’ve never picked Naturi to play me, but I think they were just trying to depict me a certain way and that was so wrong. At the end of the day, if you want a damn good movie, you’re supposed to go to the sources themselves. I mean, you got Cease and some of the other mafia members playing themselves, but they didn’t want me to play myself ’cause it would’ve been to real. They didn’t even ask me as a common courtesy or out of respect, and the reason why is because they wanted to lie and make up a story. In Naturi’s defense though, I feel really sorry for her because they totally used her.
HHW: Did they ever approach you to be involved?
LK: No, Never
HHW: What are some of the discrepancies with the movie?
LK: There were so many. They were disrespecting me terrible in that script but the one that sticks out to me was in a scene allegedly when Ms. Wallace came to see one of Biggie’s shows for the first time and I was supposed to be so mad at him about something that I pulled my panties off on stage and mooned the crowd with my p—-. What the f—?! Come on, don’t you think that would’ve been in the history archives? They’re using Lil Kim to sensationalize their bulls— lying’-a– story. That was the last version of the script I saw, which somebody had snuck to me, ’cause people didn’t want me to see it.
HHW: How did you feel about who they cast to play Biggie and the other characters?
LK: Personally I would’ve never picked Gravy either, that’s not my baby as I knew him. I’m a realist. If he gave me that Biggie aura I would’ve been able to separate. But, there’s nothing that comes off of him that says; that’s Biggie to me. I know Biggie is like “come on, how they gone do me like that?” The only person who came close to who they portrayed in my opinion was the girl that Faith picked to play her. But again this is Faith’s story. I could never tell you what Faith and Biggie’s relationship was like so how in the hell can Faith or Ms. Wallace or anyone say what my relationship with Biggie was like?
HHW: What happened next?
LK: My lawyer told them they were going to have to do something, and in order to even use my likeness or my name they had to pay me. On top of that they got the writer to talk to me. I knew something was fishy about them having the writer call me, when I spoke to the writer I felt like he was trying to play me so I wouldn’t give up anything. I knew I wouldn’t have control of how I was depicted.
HHW: Did you tell them any other stuff they used?
LK: I corrected the writer about Biggie’s nickname for me. He had written that Biggie called me Big Momma. Biggie never called me Big Momma. As a matter of fact, he didn’t even like that name for me. He used to call me “Mookie” I told the writer that and he was like, “I didn’t know that.” I was like, “yeah, it’s a lot of things y’all don’t know ’cause y’all ain’t come and get the real from me. He even tried to get me to say things to go along with their story line, but I wasn’t having it, ’cause I peeped this bulls— from the beginning.
HHW: Did you see the King Magazine with Naturi on the cover?
LK: Yes
HHW: How did you feel about how she was made up to look like you?
LK: Although it was supposed to be a tribute to me, I didn’t like it because I didn’t feel like they captured the essence of that time period
HHW: Have you spoken with Faith and Ms. Wallace?
LK: No. Honestly, I don’t have no words for them. But, one thing I will say is, I’ve had enough and I’m about to expose them both. That’s it. I’ve been quiet for a long time. You don’t hear me talking about none of them, and to be honest with you I’m really disappointed in Faith. I remember a few years ago she did a magazine interview where she talked about having a lot of respect and love for me. She said, “Kim was Biggie’s girlfriend and I was Biggie’s wife,” and how that was hard for her to deal with. Then later on she writes a book and in it she tried to change it and say some stupid s— about how I was his jump off. I laugh at her because I remember years ago being in the studio with my then boyfriend at the time, Scott Storch. We’re in the studio, Faith was in another room and she called Scott’s phone and said “Oh Kim’s with you? Tell her I said hi and that I got love for her and hope that her and I can talk soon and be friends.” I was like “wow!” I thought that was really big, considering that I’m a woman who her husband was in love with. I felt like that was real big. Me and Scott even thought of doing a record with her, thinking about how big it would’ve been for hip hop and for the Biggie family. She even sent her daughter China, who I love and took care of sometimes down to me, and China was like, “I love you Kim and my mom told me to tell you she loves you and hi.” But, here we go years later, I guess the funds must be low; because somebody told Faith, “you gotta write a book and you gotta come at Kim in the book.” It shocked me, ’cause I thought we had come to some kind of unity. I thought it was really tasteless. She could never play poker because she already exposed her hand. Faith, you know me, I’m an extremist I go hard. Once I start I don’t stop. Why would you wake up this sleeping giant?
HHW: And, what about Ms. Wallace?
LK: There’s nothing Faith or Ms. Wallace could do to stop me from reppin’ B.I.G. all day. I’m gonna always do that. They want to talk about people exploiting Biggie, to me this is the worst way you could exploit his name; by disrespecting people who was around him who he had major love for. The truth is gonna be known. Like how a while back Ms. Wallace was on the radio talking about how we never mourned together and that she never knew me. It’s crazy ’cause she and I lived together in Biggie’s house for almost eight months after Biggie died. On top of all that, out of the kindness of my heart and the love I had for Biggie, I share five percent of my publishing with Ms. Wallace; just out of love, making sure that if I ate, she and the kids ate. And at the end of the day, this is how she repays me? It’s time for Ms. Wallace to be exposed.
HHW: Will you go see the movie when it comes out?
LK: Hell No! I might watch it on bootleg, for legal reasons. I don’t mess with Cease and them at all, but even they know this is not the real Biggie story. If they say something different, I ain’t mad, ’cause I know they’re rolling along for their little three minutes of fame, doing what they gotta do to hold on. I just want people to know, I have nothing to do with the film and I’m not supporting it. I’m Currently working on my life story where people will get the Naked Truth about Kimberly Denise Jones a/k/a Lil Kim.

Okay… I read some parts of #26 and let me say, I do think they should have consulted her more about who was playing her character…
But Lil Kim is acting like she could have made the movie so much better and she wouldnt have picked gravy. Then who? Itsn not going to be perfect so she needs to relax! I seriously doubt lil kim could have done better so she needs to stop.
Again if he was so in love, why not her instead of faith? Why Charlie Baltimore then after? Lil kim is delusional to soem extent but I can understand why shes mad, they should have consulted her more with the making.

Why isn’t anyone talking about the real issue here…Kim didn’t give them her side of the story so she isn’t upset about how she is portrayed, she is upset about the DARK SKIN COLOR of the chick who is portraying her. Lil Kim is a sad little girl and needs to seek professional (non-surgical help ASAP).
In my opinion she is deeply wounded inside because she spent years being B.I.G’s piss pot and he played her over and over again for fair skinned girls (I say girl because Faith’s relationship with him was very juvenile, wife title or not [I'm a HUGE fan BTW] and as for Chuck BMore–no comment). She is trying so hard to become better than what she rejected her for. B.I.G treated her like shit but she allowed herself to be treated that way.
I feel her pain, I really do, but she’s getting older and needs to focus on self instead of worrying about what some deceased guy’s family thinks about her. He passed and he is no longer physically in her life. She no longer has to deal with what she calls “shady” people who were in both of their lives. She needs to move on and HEAL…and after she heals she needs to let herself find love instead of mourning some guy for another 10 years whom I suspect (purely speculation) wouldn’t hop off another chick’s clit long enough to mourn her for 10 minutes.

I think the whole thing is nonsense. First off, should they have tapped Kim for some info ??? Sure, but they didnt have to. Her side of the story isn’t gonna make or break the film becuase it seems to me that the movie is more focused on his rise to fame more than his love trianlge (though obviously it was a part of said rise)so IMO that part doesnt have to be the focal point. Seriously, how much input did she think she was intitled too in the first place??? Kim, youre a rapper….. not a casting director…. you think youre the ONLY person mad at who played them in a movie about SOMEONE ELSE??? The point of the movie is to tell his life… not make you happy.
Secondly, I agree with some of the postes about her being a bit delusional. I mean come on, she sounds like a typical chick that was dogged and put on the back burner… period.
At the end of the day I’m not mad at her for voicing her opinion becuase she obviously is in the movie. Do I think they should have stopped production becuase they should have had everything SHE thought was right… no.

Real Biggie fans know that this movie isn’t even worth viewing. What are we gonna learn from this BS that we don’t already know? How many VH1 & MTV specials were already dedicated to Biggie smalls already? I guess those checks must be running really low for certain people. I fully support kim behind her decision to voice her displeasure about the way she is depicted in this “movie”. Kim met biggie before he ever heard faith sing a note.
Biggie didn’t love neither one of them broads but at least kim was there from the beginning. Yeah he married faith and was “Tiffany’s Man”, but for some reason he kept crawling back to kim. She obviously meant something to him for him to go back to her when he was married.

I can somewhat understand Kim being upset about her protryal in the movie without her ever being consulted. That’s not right.
As far as her and BIG’s relationship, as we all know, Kim was the jump-off and Faith was the wife. After he died, the jump-off doesn’t matter, ONLY the wife. KNOW THAT all you jump-offs out there!!! You DON’T matter!!!

I love your site and blogs and people’s opinion about this topic. I’ve never posted before, but I feel like this is a great topic.
One this is more for Miss Info and people who really know what went on between “DEATH ROW & BAD BOY/ BIGGIE & 2PAC”. My problem with this movie to start is, like JFK and any other Biopics it is best to keep the “FAMILY” as a resource for the film and project and not have them be “Executive Creative Controlling Producers” which believe I worded it like that for a reason.
Because Mrs. Wallace and “The Other producer” are putting this movie out there like it is “FACTUAL”. So from now until a “2pac Movie” or a real music Industry movie is made, people will leave this movie thinking everything that went down the way Mrs. Wallace and “The Other Producer” believe it did. Which is a major problem because, perception is everything. They should’ve left 2pac completely out of this movie. No way should have Mrs. Wallace who didn’t know 2pac or the “Other producer”, who had personal issues with PAC, been able to portray 2pac or that story of the East/West war story line in any shape or form.
I haven’t seen the movie but I know an “A LIST” Director who turned this gig down specifically because of the “Major Inaccuricies” that would be portrayed in this movie and how they would slant it.
Regardless of what you think of Biggie or 2pac they shaped Hip Hop history forever. Major players and some legends came from their story lines. I know everyone will say this is “Biggie’s” movie about his life so why I am I bringing up 2pac. The reason why is, because if it was truly Biggie’s movie you would leave 2pac out of it and just graze over that section and celebrate other times of his brief life. Why did they included 2pac? Because it’s a MAJOR FUKCING PART OF BIGGIE’S LIFE and “A KEY SELLING POINT FOR THE MOVIE, for those who have only heard of the Pac/Biggie war. Let’s be honest”Label heads families will be Ric for Generations, just off the Hype and murders of Biggie and 2pac, it changed Hip Hop History Forever)
Like I said I know a major director who passed on this project because of how they were telling the story. They have 2pac looking crazy in this movie like he was a jealous crazed Idiot. if your going to do this story completely then you must show both sides, Bad Boy was riding as hard on Death row “Off Camera” as Death Row was on camera. That shit was deep rooted street issues. Do people know 2pac was approached to be on Bad Boy but declined? And not approached as Russell Simmons calling you to Def jam offices to offer a deal. That’s just a small tidbit which I’m sure will not be shown, or accurately shown which HELPED SET FLAMES TO THIS WAR.
A lot of what shaped Biggies and Bad Boy story was key people around them who I’m positive you will never hear mentioned or seen in this film. The Tale of Biggie and 2pac is more of on a ‘God Father type movie” than this B rated $25 million dollar budget movie. The budget should’ve been much higher for a film of this caliber, but why that didn’t happen is another story.
There is no way Mrs. Wallace would allow or the “OTHER PRODUCER” Elements that would harm Biggie’s Image or anyone else’s who is still alive; or prominent still in the music biz. Look I’m not the biggest little Kim fan, but she should be upset, you can’t have a Nigga who pistol whipped and and beat her like Ike Turner did Tina, look like this funny nice guy who just wanted to live and make money, and loved different women. And then turn around and have Lil Kim look this jealous groupie whore, and have the adulterous wife smelling like Roses.
Just like you need to show how Pac was angry and Crazed with the East/West War you have to show the “REASONS” that lead to this behavior and the things people did and allowed to happen. This is marketed as a “FACTUAL BIO PIC”, not “FACT mixed with FICTION BIO PIC”. In no way shape or form can you add “JUICY STORYLINES” or elements to Biggie’s story/life and leave out the facts along the way. That’s why this is a Bio Pic. And I know some will say, oh well maybe that’s how other see it, but those who “REALLY KNOW” and Miss Info could tell you, A Whole lot of Foul Surreal shit went down on both sides during that time period. I know this movie is meant to celebrate Biggie’s life, but you can’t change around facts of history and leave out “SKELETONS” just for the sake of making Biggie or his life look better. That is not a BIO PIC!
I used Pac as an example, because looking at it that way will show you why Lil Kim is upset as she is. Because they are not telling the real. The Real that FAITH was Skandolous almost to a degree as much as Biggie with their relationship. ( And I understand not wanting your Grandchildren or Children knowing or seeing Mommy Liked to sleep around, and that Daddy did things unacceptable for any MAN to do to a woman), or that others involved in Biggie’s life were as deceiteful and Grimey as the niggas the Media portrayed to be during that time period. Don’t believe the HYPE! EAST & WEST was doing foul shit, all parties included. It just so happened others did it Publicly while “BAD BOYS” moved in silence.
Look I know people who knew Biggie and they say he was a funny dude and had a great heart, but man there is a lot of other shit about him that may not “Look Great” but it was who he was. So why hide things knowing now you may have hurt or resurfaced bad memories of others, which may cause future problems that were unwarranted. DO NOT CENSOR A BIO PIC. TELL THE UNCENSORED VERSION OF THIS STORY. DON’T HIDE BEHIND WE GOTTA PROTECT NIGGAS STILL IN THIS GAME, or KEEP SAFE NIGGAS WHO STILL IN THE SHADOWS WERE ARE AFRAID NEED TO KEEP THEIRS AND OURS DIRTY LITTLE SECRETS. They know damn well those names of the ones who lurk in the shadows with the “REAL POWER” can always have their names changed for movie purposes, everyone will get an idea of what was done without mentioning names of real peeps.
YOU CANNOT MAKE SOMEONE LOOK A LITTLE CLEANER TO CEMENT THEIR LEGACY. BIGGIE WILL BE THE KING OF NY REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU SHOW PEOPLE. BUT LET PEOPLE DECIDE WHAT KIND OF PERSON THEY SAW HIM AS, INSTEAD OF PORTRAYING HIM INACCURACTELY.
It will be interesting too see the other side’s reaction to this movie, regarding 2pac, elements of Death Row, and people like Lil Kim. Because plz understand this movie is not a true Bio Pic, in a true Bio Pic, like Che Guevera that Steven Soderburgh did, you show “THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE VERY UGLY” and then you leave it up to the audience to decide their thoughts about the character. “YOU CAN NOT REWRITE HISTORY OR FABRICATE IT” How can you learn from mistakes from the past, when you were never shown or told the truth? Shaping people’s opnion with misinformation and half truth’s is a disgrace to living members of this story and future fans who will really think this is how Biggie/ the Situations surrounding him and the music biz were. Biggie’s story unfortunatley is filled with “MAJOR SECRETS & SKELETONS” the music industry and others continue to keep locked, which is why “THE PUBLIC” will never know why or how 2pac and Biggie got killed. The “STREETS” and the music Industry know who is behind both deaths.
I feel as this Biggie movie is acting as a “VERY WELL EXECUTED RUSE” to get at people living and dead, personally, business wise, and destroy legacies in the process. Also to further dead and living people’s legacies
, reputation, and business.
People who really know what went on, know that Lil Kim is 100 percent right on this. I’m sorry but 2pac and Biggie’s life stories, though mainly only 2 to 3 years, was mostly drama. Drama that is heavily interconnected with one another’s life story. That’s why an “OBJECTIVE PARTY” with free “Total” needed to make a movie involving Biggie/2pac, Bad Boy/Death Row and that period in the music industry and used friends, family, and others as Creative resources ONLY! Then doing research to portray a “FACTUAL STORY.
I’ll end with this. No Lil Kim shouldn’t have been a heavy hand or Creative director of this movie, but you kidding yourself if you think someone as close to Biggie or in his Inner circle, shouldn’t have been a consultant on this film. But really the Blame on this film lies more so on Mrs. Wallace and the “OTHER PRODUCER” of this film, wanting to Remember “Biggie” as how they wished he truly was. like I said Elements of his Funny nature and big heart are true, but if you truly loved Biggie “You would love him for the good, the bad, and the Ugly” because all of those elements made him who he was.
P.S. Anyone saying if you know so much or think this is inaccurate, go make a movie showing “THE TRUTH”, I would say one is not Far off from being done, by others.
P.S. Gravy did his thing, he worked with “Truths” and the way he was instructed so you can’t hate on him.

I find it really hard to believe little Kim would really want to expose Bigs moms! If these remarks were really said then I think it was purely said in the heat of the moment as a result of emotions. Such a move would at first give her lots of exposure for the controversy but then after the immediate high there would be an extreme low point as the move would make her very, very unpopular. From a PR perspective it would be a bad business move. When the head is on the right way, I think people will think twice about their actions, calm down and just forget about it. At the end of the day it sounds like a baby throwing toys out the pram to no avail.

I think Kim was a big part of B.I.G’s life. His love for her was genuine. And she deserved to have a say in her part in the movie. It’s hard to make a movie about a mans life and not get everyone’s side of the story. That makes the story incomplete. Especially in this case because Kim was a huge part of his life. She was there since the beginning, she deserves more respect than that. Especially considering the fact that she gives Ms. Wallace a percentage of her publishing’s, and Ms. Wallace is gonna do her like that? I liked the movie it entertained me but it doesn’t convince me.. I dont feel that it was told right
