Lil Cease and The Outlawz “Bury The Hatchet” for Biggie and Tupac
Posted by Mikey Fresh under videos[13] Comments
Something like this has been a long time in the makes. More than 15 years after the untimely passing of Biggie and Tupac, Lil Cease and The Outlawz have finally buried the hatchet. Teaming up for Kay Slay, the once feuding sides have officially put the beef to rest int the name of rap’s two fallen legends. This track will be included on Slay’s upcoming album, Rhyme or Die.

lol @ ‘princess.’ how strange that it’s the first time someone thought of that…
yeah i care so much that I took 5 seconds out of my day to write a snarky comment on a blog.
how fast is your internet connection? you still using dial-up? is that why you think it’s such an investment to comment on a blog? sorry about your life.

the call from Slay was simple, went something like this: yo NONE of y’all niggas is poppin & are only relevant on ur legendary homie’s bday or death anniversary…just do some shit together, so at the end of the day I could say I PUT IT TOGETHER when people speak on BIG & Pac! Peace!”

“And n ggas sayin’ that they wish Big and ‘pac was here. They lyin’…if they was here, they wouldn’t have careers.”
-Lil’ Cease
Truer words coulda never been spoken. Matter of fact all of these laffy taffy silly rappers that run the game now and have the ignorant youth all goofy doofy these days, would still be in school/huggin’ blocks/in cell blocks/etc. because there wouldn’t be a market for the nonsense they successfully market. It’s amazing how two dudes were taken out of a game of thousands yet the dearth of talent became so obvious after their departures.
RIP
But also glad to see the birth of an new bond that commemorates the lives of the two lost soldiers.

I think this is constructive regardless of what the sweet yo princess thinks about it. This ‘amnesia’ mindlessness that has taken root in the culture of hip-hop because of the backwash of rap is sickening. I’m sick of these ringtone rappers and flash in the pan “artists” that have no real content and have to do features to generate any buzz for their projects.
Also, does Lil Cease look weird in this clip or is it me?

Glad to see Lil Cease doing something. If just for his association with B.I.G. I’ve always wished success for him in Rap game.
