Professor Lil’ B conducted his very first lecture on Wednesday night at N.Y.U.’s Kimmel Center in front of resident students and the handful of fans who were lucky enough to scoop limited tickets. The Based God’s appearance was much-talked about leading up to yesterday since no one knew what would be covered. Turns out the rather interesting speaking appearance covered everything from his personal secrets and antidotes on life, theories on humans versus animal life, the importance of loving one’s self and relationships, and plenty more jewels for the packed anxious crowd.
Watch video recap, listen to the full lecture in audio form and catch some pics after the jump…..

I love real hip hop to the core and I’d rather listen/watch Lil B than cliche Kanye/Wayne any day.
mostly because dude is just funny and carefree. also he rhymes about a wide range of shit, something that new school artists (including Wayne/Kanye) just don’t do. Lil B has funny videos too.
Check out “One Time (Remix)”, “Real Hip Hop 2012″ and “Exhibit Based” for ‘rhyming B’. then “Unchain Me”, “Pretty Bitch” and “Whodie Whodie” for ‘hilarious B’

I feel the exact same way. It’s like once new york rappers started to fall off, hip hop went south and after that its been on life support every since. Now early 50 cent and eminem kept it on life support but it’s slowly dying. Im not saying other rappers haven’t put out good music but nobody has carried it. Jay-z puts out good music but were so used to it that he gets over looked. Kanye too because his off the mic antics make him look like a clown. Outkast has never let me down but they come around every now and then like a dead beat dad. Clowns like this and odd future kats are making it hard to even listen to hip hop. How about stop worrying about whos the best and how much money you got and make good music.

exactly thats my whole point but to me i feel like its a whole new generation and im all game to that …….u have the kendrick lamars and the school boy q and ab soul who still take the “vintage old school spirit” and spin it around to make it new and hot and i respect them but kats like lil b to me is garbage like its all gimmick how can u respect a dude who name his album “im gay” and then when it caught havoc u try to flip and said o it means im happy like im not mad that he even call his album im gay but if u gonna go there u better reperesent it and be real if u gay then ur a gay rapper dont try to flip it for a buzz and ur not gay thats all im saying i feel like he dont practice what hes preaching he jus doing it to gain noteriety which to me is wack … like i listen to his shit cuz i have a open mind to it but i feel hes doing this jus to get heard hes not really representing it thats all im saying … but like i said at the end of the day its my opinion
