The issues between Lil’ B and Joey Bada$$ has been brewing for a while now. Brooklyn’s Bada$$ had thrown various lyrical jabs at the Based God on his 1999 mixtape. Things came to the forefront again when Joey quoted the late Capital STEEZ on Twitter with “They say hard work pays off, well tell the based god don’t quit his day job, ” off the song “Survival Tactics.”
Earlier this evening, Lil’ B finally responded with the song “I’m the Bada$$.” Just moments after the song’s release, Bada$$ and the Bay Area-native got into a back-and-forth on Twitter. Will Joey respond on wax? We’ll soon find out.
Listen to “I’m the Bada$$” and read their tweets below…..
