Lil’ B had to cancel his set at the Rolling Loud Bay Area Festival in Mountain View, CA on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 21). Moments before hitting the stage, the Based God was allegedly jumped by A Boogie with Da Hoodie and PnB Rock’s entourages, where Lil’ B claims they stole his laptop and equipment.

Continue after the jump….

Hey man, A Boogie and his whole crew just jumped me in the back, man and beat me up in the back, man. That shit crazy, man. But I’mma tell y’all like this, it’s all love. I don’t promote violence, I’m never with the violence,” said a stunned Lil’ B on stage to the festival goers. “So I just wanted to tell y’all because they stole my shit and everything so I can’t even do my show ’cause they stole my shit. Hey, but I say it’s all love though and I love them and I love y’all.”

The incident appears to stem from a tweet Lil’ B sent out back in September, stating that new artists from New York all sound like Future and DeJ Loaf. “I FEEL LIKE I REP NEW YORK HIP HOP HARDER THEN SOME OF THE ARTIST FROM NEW YORK! THESE NEW YORK ARTIST SOUND LIKE FUTURE N DEJ LOAF, said the Oakland rapper. A Boogie’s labelmate Don Q was one of the first artists to respond, telling Lil’ B to simply “stfu ni**a.”

A boogie with a hoodie and his crew jumped me don’t no how many of em it was but it’s all good I love y’all and I forgive y’all LOVE,” said the Based God in a series of tweets following the incident. “Use me as an example I was violently jumped by a boogie Hella his people I was 1 deep no security its good I forgive them love y’all. Just because someone hurts you does not mean you need to retaliate! I love the people who jumped me I mean that stay positive nsafe.”
