Preview: Lana Del Rey “National Anthem” (Co-Starring ASAP Rocky) (Video)

Even the White House is covered with swag. Lana Del Rey and ASAP Rocky play the roles of Jackie O and John F. Kennedy in “National Anthem,” the new video in support of Lana’s single off her Born to Die album. The cinematic black-and-white preview features Rocky smoking, calmly looking in amazement at Lana as she takes the stage. The 3-minute preview cuts into various clips of patriotism and close intimate moments between the two new stars. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Rocky spoke on his prominent role in the video.
“Some swag shit,” said Rocky of the clip. “I play JFK, she plays Jackie O. It’s some cool trippy shit, some real 2015 shit. People are gonna get it in like three years, and that’s the whole purpose of it.”
Expect the full video to drop in the coming days. Meanwhile, you’ll be hearing from the two soon as Lana will appear on Pretty Flacko’s “Ridin” off his Long.Live.A$AP debut album this September.

Ok I gave this video a chance I really did but OMG this was terrible. The same two clips playing over and over was terrible. Her standing there fixing her hair and him smoking. At least she looks like Jackie-O. He looks like ASAP. His explanation made it worse.

Ok well 3:55 is a long preview especially when the whole song plays out. It’s still terrible HENCE the word TRASH!!
I expect it to drop sonng and I expect it to be like the preview which in my opinion is trash.
