Thanks to our friends at Foot Action, Brooklyn was treated to a private performance by Kendrick Lamar on Thursday evening. The event actually started off with a collection of the best fan submitted artwork of K. Dot himself. Pieces were on display at the Galapagos Art Space while TDE’s Ali spun the tunes. Kendrick got into his set with the usual crowd favorites like “Backstreet Freestyle” and “Poetic Justice, but he had a special guest for “B*tch Don’t Kill My Vibe.” Before the beat even dropped, he welcomed Emeli Sande to the stage to help out with the track. To our surprise, she added new lyrics to the intro and killed it. Let’s hope they drop a CDQ version.
