Kendrick Lamar slows it down on his melodic and reflective, “Swimming Pools (Drank).” The new single produced by T-Minus features Kendrick painting the picture of past struggles growing up in a tough environment. Expect this to appear on his upcoming debut album, good kid m.A.A.d city, due October 2 via TDE/Aftermath/Interscope Records. Also lookout for his video for “The Recipe” with Dr. Dre to hit online soon.

Whoever says rap sucks nowadays must not have heard of this dude. Lol. He’s not the only one, but this is one of our bright starts in hip-hop. Some music you just listen to and some you “live” to it. I need not say more. I can’t wait until the album and doubt that I’m alone with that sentiment..
