Prince celebrated the release of his two new albums — Art Official Age and PlectrumElectrum, recorded with his band 3rdEyeGirl — with a special livestreamed event in Minneapolis last night that “focused on the history of his Paisley Park estate and interviewed collaborators who worked on his most recent records.” Prince also delivered a brief set towards the end of the hour-and-a-half webcast, where he was joined by surprise guest Kendrick Lamar, who added a new verse to his 1998 Crystal Ball cut, “What’s My Name.”

Prince and K.Dot actually have an unreleased record in the stash, which Prince’s engineer previewed for the crowd earlier in the night.
