This week’s episode of Open Late with Peter Rosenberg is dedicated entirely to Mac Miller, who tragically died last Friday (September 7) from a suspected overdose. Fellow artists and friends like Kendrick Lamar, Ty Dolla $ign, Macklemore, Machine Gun Kelly and Lil Xan also chimed in to honor Mac’s creative talents, kind spirit and sense of humor.

“He was a funny, funny, funny individual. Always pulled up to the studio, played music, had us laughing, told jokes all night,” Kendrick says. “Great musician, great writer, just always had a smile on his face. No matter what he was going through, he didn’t make you feel sorry for him. He was strong about it, always kept a smile on his face because he wanted you to smile, too.”

Rest easy, Mac.
