Kendrick Lamar Debut Album Pushed Back, Reveals Upcoming Kid Cudi Collab

Kendrick Lamar fans will have to wait a little more longer. The Compton MC’s official debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d city has been pushed back from its original release date of October 2nd to October 22nd. The good news is Lamar will be headlining this year’s BET Music Matters Tour which begins on September 7th in Norfolk, Virginia. K.Dot will be supported by his TDE family of Ab-Soul and Jay Rock, plus Maybach Music Group’s Stalley.
Even better news is Kendrick revealing he’s recording with Kid Cudi. In a sitdown interview with WiLD 94.9, he reveals that he’s a fan of Kid Cudi and recently recorded a song for Cudder’s upcoming Indicud album.
“I just recently did a Kid Cudi collabo. I like Kid Cudi a lot, he got a crazy unique style about him. I just really fufilled that opportunity to knock that out on his upcoming album.”

first Lady Gaga, now Kid Cudi? I thought this dude was “real hip hop”. LOL.
I’ve said it once and I’ma say it again: Kendrick aint deep. He’s ‘lyrical’ to the crowd that don’t really know what it means to be poetic and have a deep thought.
the same crowd that ironically doesn’t mind misogynistic/shallow stuff from other rappers

run dmc did track with rock group that run dmc wasn’t real hiphop ?
there no rule for what real and fake hiphop is voice of the young generation as the youth change and style change the music will to it doesn’t mean it not real

maybe you should stfu cuz obviously you havent heard much of kendricks music and things that hes said. he is poetic, just in his own way. most lame people like lil wayne and others in that category just spit punchlines and bs which ends up wasting a beat. its sad when you judge kendrick and you dont know the first thing about him. this girl said he sucked when she listened to HiiiPoWer. it was the saddest thing because she just didnt know what he was talking about. these days people just listen to beats and no words.

So all these debut albums coming around the same time huh…
Meek, Kendrick and ASAP Rocky got pushed back till the end of Oct? Hmmmm…. Hip Hop looking to dominate the charts around then, a little competition maybe?
This real hip hop shit, as long as the shit aint on some super poppy shit then I can fuck wid it. I aint a big Cudi fan but u can get some deep shit out of Cudi sometimes that makes for good hooks or bridges.
I trust Dr. Dre to make sure its on point….
