I’m confused….didn’t he just announce her being pregnant with his first son???? Of course that doesn’t mean anything but it sure didn’t sound like anything was going on.

This whole thing is odd. She was just so happy and full of smiles days ago and now this. They’d been planning this pregnancy too for a long time from what I understand. None of this makes any sense to me. I guess you never really know what’s happening in someones home or what they’re going really going through. I just hope this doesn’t get ugly, but I have a feeling it will.

Also not to defend Nas or anything but it Kelis who filed the divorce papers not Nas. So its not like Nas is volunatirly bouncing leaving Kelis pregnant on purpose. I dont think Nas is that type of dude especially when he values having a mother and father in his house and has talkes so much about how Olu leaving and being with Anne affected him.
Damn man…I really hope they resolve this. Im really just hoping they got into an argument and Nas was being hard headed and Kelis really hormomal and they just patch it up.

to add on to what prophecy_projectz said. Until you’ve been a in a relationship (married or not) with a pregnant woman…you have no idea what Nas might be going through. Hormones and mood-swings is a MOTHER-F****ER!!!!! The fact that she’s having a boy, definitely F’s with a woman’s hormones.
Like prophecy stated Kelis filed the divorce maybe she can’t handle it. Hormones kicking her @$$.

Some of these comments on here are killing me softly.
First, I don’t care WHO filed for divorce. IF the rumors are true, does it really matter who filed the divorce papers?
Second, I know that some of you idolize Nas, but unless you grew up with him and know him personally, no one can say what he is like behind closed doors. It doesn’t matter how things “seem”. Stop playing the blame game. It takes TWO to ruin a marriage.

3) They married in NY. Y file in Cali? Kimora did this same thing to Russ, they married on the St Baat Island, lived in NY, but she filed in Cali. By filing in Cali does the lady get more $ ?

Yeah, Cali is a community property state. That’s also been their primary residence for the last few years. She was only supposed to be in NY for a few more weeks then back to Cali to have the baby.
That marriage date is very weird, so is the seperation date. All this is wierd to be honest.
I don’t know what he has that’s liquid (I’m not that close to them lol), but I know him and Kelis have acquired a lot in non-liquid assets.

@ Info yeah all that plus real estate. Lots of high-end property. Could be a reason for the touring. I don’t know. I think her filing was a knee jerk reaction to whatever she found out in the last week because it doesn’t look like she had a plan at all. Nobody knew she was going to do this.
@ Rent. I know she loved that man deeply and believed in that marriage. She definately isn’t some wild out there whore though and Nas isn’t a God lol.
