Karrueche Tran is ready to speak out. The 26-year-old model recently sat down with spiritual life coach Iyanla Vanzant, to discuss her rocky relationship with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN primetime show Iyanla: Fix My Life.

In the emotional 41-minute sit down, Karrueche opens up for the first-time, after news surfaced that Chris Brown allegedly fathered a daughter while still with Karrueche, causing her to end their tumultuous four-year relationship.

The two touched on Tran first meeting the R&B singer, her penchant for social media and now keeping her feelings off the internet, why she chose to date Brown after his 2009 assault on then girlfriend Rihanna, and if Karrueche knew the extent of Chris Brown and Rihanna’s rekindling during the time she was with Brown.

“I was under the impression that it was a friend type of — not a friend — but it wasn’t what it became to be … I didn’t want to believe it,” Tran tells Vanzant, on the extent of Brown and Rihanna’s relationship through her eyes. Karrueche’s best friend, Christina Milian, also makes an appearance to give her perspective on being her support system and going through some of Karrueche’s struggles with her.
