Yeezy Season is in full stride. Just a week before Kanye West unveils the much-anticipated first collection with adidas during New York Fashion Week, our first official look of the adidas Yeezi 3 (officially named the Yeezy 750 Boost) surfaces online. Kanye’s close friend and personal barber Ibn Jasper took to Instagram moments ago to reveal the grey and white hi-top uxury sneaker, set to launch in New York City this month.
“Sittin next to YEEZY #YEEZYBOOST #YEEZYORIGINAL,” says Jasper, who gives various angles of the sneaker, on the way to Kanye’s Grammy Awards rehearsals at Staples Center. Rumored to retail at $350, the hi-top model will only be available in one colorway according to close friend of Kanye’s, Theophilus London. London, whose Vibes! album was executive produced by Kanye, also notes the sneaker’s unique side where it can be worn five different ways.
Set to launch this coming Thursday, along with a full clothing collection, Kanye has also created a countdown site yeezy.supply, in anticipation of the big event next week.
