Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy Artwork & Runaway film premiere details

On the last day before he has to submit his new album to Def Jam, Kanye West tweeted the banned version of his My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy LP cover. The artwork, which was done by George Condo, must have rub north American retailers the wrong way with it’s partial nudity causing becuase it not to appear on the stateside retail version when the album hits stores on November 23rd.
In related news Kanye also tweeted yesterday that his 35 minute Runaway Film will debut on Saturday October 23rd simultaneously on MTV, BET, MTV2, MTV.com, BET.com, and VH1.com. Following screenings overseas in Paris, London, Tokyo & Sydney, Australia, ‘Ye will conduct it’s first U.S. screening this week in Los Angeles.

that he’s white Americas nightmare. i am so pissed this wont be the cover , it dont get no iller then that…the balls on this guy …lol i mean really , it’s a black creature with a white ” thing ” cuz it could be an angel or just some white lady who’s into wearing wings , w.e. , i dont judge any one , and he’s got his bottle of Heineken . balls i tell you.

I think he is insinuating that what black men desire is what’s on that cover. That a white female in bed, or on your arm is “Power” I mess with Kanye creatively on the music tip, but he definitely saying alot with this one. Open ya eyes and see it.

Kanye already had the Power so why would he be making this random statement?
Why do you think he is express the “black men” position and not simply his own?
Sometimes open eyes see more then whats really there.
In fact for all we know he could have commission Mr Condo to do a twisted freaked out version of him and amber.No more no less.
I do hope he tells us what he had in mind with this. I’m just open to all possible meanings until he says one way or the other.

Basically he worships the devil the girl on him is a demon and he sold his soul to the devil if you listen to kanye west he states that in several songs he wants to be the baddest most evil artist in the world and wants everyone to listen to his music and all the people he makes music with are all in the same page free mason research it the signs are every where.

why are people mad at Kanye? You should be mad at the ones who banned the cover. Obviously everywhere but the US had a problem with it. People are so quick to talk down about Religious controlled countries yet we’re no different. What happened to Freedom of expression?
What happened to free speech? Reminds me of the DeadPrez album having a sticker over the guns, mind you the picture wasn’t about gang-violence but a revolution. Anytime someone tries to make a statement to get people thinking/address certain issues, it gets looked upon strangely.

Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, ain’t none of the retailers gonna support this album cover, this is ten-fold worse then the album having Good Ass Job for a name (Which compared to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, is the greatest name of all time). I don’t really care that the cover’s fucked up, but how Imma look going into target the day the album drops, and buying an album with that as a cover. (Sigh) I miss the days when Kanye gave his albums college themed names, and the cover featured a teddy bear

Seeing all the comments on many websites that this painting has sparked up, the cover definitely does its part of making a statement. I think it could be better though.
