New Music: Kanye West “White Dress” (‘The Man With The Iron Fists’ Soundtrack)
Posted by Miss Info under about miss info , for fashion-hounds and obsessive consumers , new music[8] Comments
We previewed the Kanye West song featured on the soundtrack of RZA‘s new style kung-fu flick, The Man With the Iron Fists…..and now the full version of the song is out. Produced by Boogz Da Beast and Tapez, both from Chicago.
Listen to Kanye’s “White Dress” after the jump….
(spotted on Nahright)
Hmm, has the sounds of an old unreleased Ye track even though the beat is new. Which is actually not a bad thing, lol. Thoughts?
You can pre-order the soundtrack here.
By the way…I saw this photo of a yoked Kanye on instagram…but this mustache reorganization makes his face look totally different, no?

I gotta admit this track is dope! If Ye could show more of this style of his art which we call rap. this reminds me like of Ye from College Dropout going into Late Registration, around that time dude was spittin with bars, heart and content. Nowadays he mostly talkin model talk or giving shoutouts to high end designers who don’t usually do anything for the urban communtiy but knock us in the pockets (i’ve been a victim too). Him being one of the main guys at the forefront right now should really exhibit and show this side of his rhyming skills as more of an inspiration to these younger upcoming rappers who only think it’s cool to drop shallow minded bars with real knowledge of life or even the art of rap. i’m not knockin Ye, just sayin he should really show his versatility as a rhymer like he used to.

You can’t knock him for rapping about what’s going on in his universe at the present time. Thankfully, he’s one of few rappers that can progressively do this without his material sounding redundant. That’s why all 5 of his studio albums can be argued against each other as his best.
Don’t criticize him for shouting out designers that most of his listeners can’t afford. Criticize his listeners for voluntarily knocking themselves in their own pockets, trying to raise their self esteem via expensive shit and trying to impress everyone and no one in particular at the same time.
As far as the track in question, for what may very well be a throwaway, this is damn good. But then again, I expect Kanye’s scraps to be this good.

Sounded like he was talking about his ex. Great track from ye. Like dude above say, you have to rap about what’s going on in your life. He does that. 50 needs to re-learn that. That is what made his career successful.
