Kanye West To Debut Womenswear Collection In October

After much speculation and talk in this wonderful world we call the internet. It’s official, Kanye West will be debuting his much talked about womenswear collection during Paris Fashion Week this Fall. The Spring/Summer 2012 line which has been kept under wraps for sometime will arrive on Saturday October 1 with a time-slot of 9:30pm right after Jean Paul Gaultier. This coming from Harper’s Bazaar Australia, the connection? Their fashion editor, Christine Centenera, is one of Kanye’s collaborators for the new line which surely will be the talk in Paris leading up to it’s unveiling.

why not ? He went back to school to learn the fundamentals of the fashion industry to put out his own line; he deserves a shot. As far as him wearing the Celine Dion blouses and all that I don’t know lol Most men make female clothing anyway. Plus i think he really loves clothes and the entire culture; we know his passion would def be invested.
Hip Hop urban clothing is pretty much dead anyway(besides the urban skater appeal) might as well tap into the transition of the European market. I think hes going to do well. Making clothes like music is an art when he releases his line we’ll see

I agree with everything you said. This has been a long time coming from listening to all of his music you could tell this was something that was going to happen eventually. If the collection is anything like his style, music, and taste level then I think his naysayers are in for a huge suprise.

I think this whole hip hop fashion show/ week infatuation is a little funnystyle.
I mean this is hip hop, we got mad style. We tell the general culture what is cool. Give them permission to wear and buy Jordans, Timbs, Tommy , Polo, Northface and countless others. But there is something weird with all these supposed tough guys in the NBA and in hip hop sitting up at fashion shows with their legs crossed.

I wish the dude success but that doesnt mean I cant find the humor in this…
If south part or Jon Stewart draw the connection between the two it would be considered funny so we should all have a little fun with it…
I personally think Kanye tries a little too hard to prove that he not snacking on pillows and that he’s such a manly blah blah that he’s exposing himself.. Now if he comes out in 4yrs and says he’s gay I would careless and wouldnt at all be shocked…
