Another day, another rant. Kanye West kicked off the first of back-to-back shows at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, England on Saturday night. After performing his Cruel Summer single “Clique,” the soon-to-be-father used the moment to get some things off his chest.
For his first rant of 2013, Kanye spoke on the corporate world/industry, Justin Timberlake’s “Suit & Tie” single (“I got love for Hov, but I ain’t f**king with that Suit & Tie”), President Barack Obama (“I don’t give a f**k what the president got to say”) and his favorite topic, The GRAMMYs (“Remind me again the grammys can suck my d**k” + “I’ve never won a Grammy against a white person”). Will we hear another rant during his second show?

Also, why is it when every rapper travels to the UK they have to say something negative about their partners in the US. For example, The Game and Young Buck travel to the UK and later turn on 50.

If Jay-Z owed them anything or they felt cheated, why can’t they take $475million to court??? If he ain’t got it his baby Mom’s got it she got like $300Mil of her own.
It’s not Jay-Z’s fault that Jaz-O career flopped, his records were aiight to begin with then he turned to a scorned woman and he got treated like a bitch by the industry. I lost all respect for dude and never want to hear another Jaz-O record EVER!!!!!
When Jay-Z took himself out of the situations he had with those people, they all went broke. So why is that his fault?

Cats are putting out clothing lines and building their own brands based on the popularity that is the Kanye West machine. I don’t think he was dissing “suit and tie” the song. if you noticed, he mentioned “business men” a bunch of times before. hov is obviously a business man. business men wear suit and ties. hov raps on a song called “suit and tie”. and he says i got love for hov. i think this moreso a criticism of big business in music and kanye being the pop culturlist that he is, found a way to tie it into to something that’s buzzing right now.

The terms, “with all due respect” or ” don’t take it personal” are usually just excuses to speak your mind, therefore in my opinion, what Kanye said was a blatant diss…cc(I got love for Hov)
We all know corporations exploit hip-hop nontheless Kanye is one of the very few whom has made millions from the commercialisation of the genre. He has a boutique label, some kind of high end clothing line and has done business with the likes of Louis Vuitton, Nike etc
There is a difference between speaking your mind and being an absolute plonker
i.e Hurricane Katrina, Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, MTV Europe, forgetting his verses at WTT concert and now this…he is a great producer and a decent rapper but he really needs to chill.

@frank – what kanye said during Hurricane Katrina was what everybody was thinking. He spoke for a large majority of people – same as taylor swift & at MTV europe – he was promised the award & yet they didn’t give him the award, knowing he would say something about it. People would just prefer to hear blacks talk about killing black which is tragic.
