Kanye West has been a heavy presence during New York Fashion Week this month. Starting with the debut of his adidas Yeezy Season 1 collection last Thursday to attending shows by John Elliott + Co, Alexander Wang and Robert Geller, West has been a regular at many of the top shows in recent days.
On Wednesday that continued, as Kanye was spotted front-row at Jeremy Scott’s Fall 2015 show at Milk Studios. Seated next to New York Times writer Jon Caramanica, the rapper-designer was all smiles taking in Scott’s colorful rainbow-themed “Dolly Patterns” collection. Kanye returned to the front-row for Ralph Lauren’s MADE Fashion Week show on Thursday, spotted dressed in RRL from head-to-toe. West, who has often called himself the next Ralph Lauren, caught up with the iconic designer backstage where they exchanged pleasantries and posed for pictures with the Lauren family (Dylan, Andrew, and Ricky).
Despite Kanye attending various shows during NYFW, one person isn’t a fan of the 37-year-old popping up at shows. In an interview with Page Six, New York Fashion Week creator Fern Mallis expressed she’s not a fan of Mr. West. “I’m kind of over Kanye,” she said. “I mean, I’m not a fan of his music, and the attitude and the agenda is not my style.”
