A day after their debuting “New God Flow” at the BET Awards 2012, G.O.O.D. Music blasts off the second single off Cruel Summer due August 7. With Kanye West playing co-pilot, Pusha comes through with his trademark lyric-driven aggressive raps on the follow up to “Mercy.” After Kanye’s acapella last night does the full sound that much more better? Stream “New God Flow” below. Purchase the single on iTunes at midnight.

Wish it was just Pusha’s song. I was on the verge of coppin’ a ki and shit. ‘Ye’s verse was okay but the end kind of ruined it for me.

On second listen this joint is flawless. Ye’s verse is way better than okay and the outro is hilarious.

Yeah…Kanye’s new stuff is really not up to par with what I’ve come to expect from him.

What…what…are you even saying…? I judge the music, not the label and name behind the music.

I did not get the urge to play this song again, im just being honest … i listened to it and then i posted my comment … it didnt give me the urge or excitement to listen 2it again.
xact same format as Otis, jazzy church like beat n then the sample as the chorus.
I remember when the heart of a hip hop song was not only the lyrics but the ORIGINAL corus … when Jay-Z wud sing “i cant see them coming down my eyes, so i gotta make the song cry” or wen 50 sang “many men, many many many many men … wish death on me” … and those would be the heart of those songs, those lies wud be sinonimus to those songs only.
but im glad u guys luv it n think its the best thing 2happn to hip hop this yr … i realy am happy 4yol : )

This would’ve been better if it was just Pusha’s song

Kanye needs a rap editor. “Like a uncle that touched you” was a wack line, and it didn’t even fit with the tempo of the song.

Pusha T is wack to me. It’s like he tries to hard to sell his bars. Would of been a better song if it was just Yeezy on it.

I agree with you 100%, to me it feels like Kanye changed the energy of the song. I like his verse, I think it is very solid, but Pusha had that whole Ready to Die vibe going and I was feeling it. That being said, i like were hip hop is going these days. There is a small resurgence of Modern 90s Rap.

How ’bout a remix w/16 bars from Starks!! Even better.
